The Socially Anxious Beta Was Taken Home by a Dominant Alpha

Li He is a beta with severe social anxiety. But his singing is so good that even streaming with an avatar has earned him plenty of tips from fans, and he lives a quiet, stable life.

Until one day, he lost a PK match and the opposing streamer challenged him to do an outdoor livestream.

To complete the challenge, Li He went to a bridge more than ten kilometers from home in the middle of the night.

The weather forecast was wrong. He finished the livestream in heavy snow, forced himself to shut it down, then suddenly collapsed.

When he woke up, he was in a completely unfamiliar room.

Someone opened the door. Li He turned around in a panic, only to see the man whose picture he used as his phone wallpaper: Meng Shishen, a top Alpha in the entertainment industry.

Meng Shishen's opinions of the three types of people, Alpha, beta, and Omega, were respectively: brutish, boring, and fragile. That included himself.

He had never thought he could be attracted to a beta.

Meng Shishen used an alt account to stay in the beta's livestream, listening to him sing one song after another as he shyly but earnestly thanked the fans who sent him tips.

He knew the beta had lost a PK match, and recognized a familiar building in the beta's outdoor livestream.

Meng Shishen drove over. The beta beneath the avatar wore a mask, his eyes dewy, his long, thick lashes dusted with snowflakes.

Meng Shishen brought the unconscious Li He home.

The startled beta really did look like a little deer. Carrying over some hot water, Meng Shishen thought to himself, while his voice grew even gentler. "You're awake? Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"

Mini-scene 1

After getting together with Meng Shishen, Li He often received money transfers from him.

The transfer notes varied, and the amounts were usually 1314 or 5200.

"A reward for saying two more words on stream today than you did yesterday."

"You learned a new song? Will you sing it for me when I get home tonight?"

"Miss you."

Mini-scene 2

Since betas can't produce pheromones to soothe Alphas, Li He has to work very hard just to barely satisfy Meng Shishen.

Especially during Meng Shishen's rut, Li He put up a notice saying he was taking five days off.

Five days later, Meng Shishen held the barely conscious Li He close and logged into his livestream account to extend the break by another week.

PS: Meng Shishen wasn't in the livestream when Li He lost the PK match.
