Reborn, but My Wife Hasn't Run Away Yet

Zhou Xu loved Xie Lian dearly. He once thought they would be together for the rest of their lives, only to discover later that Xie Lian had a fiancée. Zhou Xu was nothing more than his secret lover, hidden from the world.

Zhou Xu was utterly disappointed. He was waiting until he had accumulated enough disappointment to leave Xie Lian for good.

But recently, he noticed something strange. Sometimes, Xie Lian would shield him in his arms and slap his arranged-marriage fiancée across the face, regardless of where they were.

He looked at his fiancée as if she were his enemy. "Get lost. Don't make me slap you."

Zhou Xu was touched for a moment, but later, in private, Xie Lian turned to him and said coldly, "Do you think you can compare to him? You're just a toy I keep around."

Zhou Xu: "?"

Sometimes, Xie Lian would torment him at night, grabbing him by the throat and insulting him. "Ha. This is all you're good for to me."

Later that night, his expression would change, and he would dote on him with all his heart. "Darling, you're my one and only. How could I live without you?"

"?"

"Dude, what?"

*

Zhou Xu left with their child and never saw him again. Xie Lian secretly followed him, only to see his former lover holding hands and embracing another man.

His child was calling another man Dad, too.

Xie Lian died of depression, still clutching a photo of the two of them together.

When he opened his eyes again, he had returned to the time when Zhou Xu loved him with all his heart.

But there was bad news: his body was still inhabited by his former self.

Xie Lian looked down at Zhou Xu, who was crying beneath him after being abused by his former self, and his gaze grew darker.

He had to find a way to kill his former self.
