My Down Comforter Has Come to Life

When Yu Rong woke up, it felt as if the whole world had been turned upside down.

His bed, blanket, pillow, sheets... They all seemed to have developed minds of their own.

They had become soft and warm. When he touched them, they felt smooth and springy, almost like...

Almost like human skin.

He was horrified.

After finally escaping the blanket's hold, Yu Rong tumbled out of bed and landed on the floor.

He tried to get away from the bedroom,

but the once-hard wooden floor had suddenly turned soft, too,

and gently caught him as he fell.

*

The home his parents had left him had changed beyond recognition.

Yu Rong was frightened and desperate, but there was nowhere to run, so he could only accept his fate.

He thought his "home" would soon swallow him up,

but as the days passed, his life... was actually getting more and more comfortable?

A cozy, sweet story with a touch of the uncanny.
