Magical Girl Bu Kawen

My name is Bu Kaven, and I'm a magical girl.

It's a very unique name. My mother came up with it.

My mother was an obscure online novelist. She kept writing diligently even while pregnant, but since she never outlined or saved up chapters, she was often stuck with writer's block.

The day I was born, she'd been stuck for more than half a month and still couldn't write a thing. She was too afraid to look at the comments, had nearly lost her passion for writing, and was on the verge of abandoning her story.

So, in a fit of anger, she named me Kaven.

Since my father's surname was Bu, my full name became Bu Kaven, which sounds like "never stuck writing" in Chinese, embodying her lovely dream of never having writer's block again.

First-person narration.

A light, cozy, super short story with a slightly silly, snarky tone.

I'm trying to lift my spirits while dealing with writer's block and stop myself from abandoning the story altogether.
