The Three Ladies of Chu and Han (Qin and Han)

In the thirty-seventh year of the First Emperor's reign, the upheaval at Shaqiu came. The First Emperor died, and the realm rose in rebellion as the Six States returned. Liu Bang and Xiang Yu rose from humble beginnings. After the upheaval at Wangyi Palace, Ziying became King of Qin. Three rulers stood side by side, each claiming the realm.

Clear-eyed college student Gui Yu transmigrates into Ji Gui, a descendant of the nobility of Chu. Her surname is Gui, her clan name is Yu, and the nickname the wandering martial world gave her is Beauty Yu.

Only after reaching Xianyang Palace with the main force does Gui Yu learn why she is being hunted.

A fallen noblewoman takes the hand of her down-and-out knight. They face everything together, never regretting it, in life or death.

A young man who carried his sword to Daliang to seek Lord Xinling deeply loves, and deeply hates, the girl who wants the world to see her.

In this turbulent age, the last King of Qin and his shaman, who fought desperately to turn the tide only to suffer defeat, go together to the Yellow Springs.

This is primarily a literary work, with historical research as a secondary concern. While respecting historical records, it selects later interpretations to serve the plot, including the identity of Consort Yu.

There was a beauty named Yu. It is unclear whether “beauty” was her rank or a description of her appearance, and whether Yu was her surname or given name. This story uses Yu as both her surname and given name. The Yu clan originated in either the state of Yu under Emperor Shun or the state of Yu under the Zhou. The story does not choose Zhou Yu, because its people had the Ji surname, which Xiang Yu also bore. Descendants of Shun's Yu established the states of Sui and Chen. Chen was conquered by Chu, and after Bai Qi flooded the Chu capital, Chu's capital was moved first to the former capital of Chen and then to Shouchun. This also fits the migration route of Chen Yu.
