Du Qingming and his teammates worked during the day and searched for things at night, putting in 996 hours every day.
Teammate A wore sunglasses and set up a fortune-telling stall in Chinatown. Teammate B performed lion dances outside a Chinese supermarket.
Du Qingming worked at a coffee shop, cosplayed as a prophet to investigate people, and occasionally delivered food to the company across the street.
But every night the Prophet card was turned over, a little bird would suddenly pop up and ruin the plan.
Their 996 schedule smoothly turned into 007.

After a while, teammate A, the fortune-teller, became an unlikely friend of a certain Gotham sweetheart and got to eat at five-star restaurants. Teammate B cosplayed as a fox spirit and found a steady meal ticket.
Du Qingming struggled with his loneliness for a while, then finally accepted a bodyguard job offer from a certain CEO.
Fine. A job is a job, and at least the boss is pretty handsome.
Until one day, Du Qingming discovered the identity beneath his boss's mask: ...6
So this person was the reason he'd been working 007 all along!

One day, teammate A read Du Qingming's face. "Boss, be careful. Your dad's in danger of getting hurt."
Du Qingming smiled. "Fun fact: I don't have a dad."
Teammate A, meeting up with his unlikely friend: "Huh? Your son is in danger of getting hurt lately."
Gotham's sweetheart: "May I ask which son?"
The richest man in Gotham heard the news during the day, then went home and found all the kids safe and sound.
Meanwhile, that night, Du Qingming stared at a certain dark-clad figure who had fallen into a trap with him and fell into deep thought.
The dark-clad figure looked at the blue eyes that looked so much like his own and fell into deep thought, too.
Much later, teammate A looked at the father and son. "I. Have. Never. Gotten. A. Prediction. Wrong!"
"Huh? When did your love star start shining?"
