The Little Fox Spirit Repays a Debt of Gratitude to Honor Her Ancestors' Rules

The Fox Clan has a rule: if a fox spirit is in danger while away from home and someone saves them, they must repay that kindness by offering themselves in marriage, regardless of the rescuer's status or appearance.

For thousands of years, no demon had ever been turned down. Until a beautiful nine-tailed fox was rejected.

To repay his debt, the fox spirit Mo Xue threw himself at Cheng Jinglan, the revered immortal of the cultivation sect, and offered himself willingly, unleashing his seductive arts!

Yet even after all that, he couldn't so much as touch the icy benefactor's fingertips. Cheng Jinglan coldly rejected and sent him away time and again.

The Fox Clan's disgrace was born!

His clan looked down on him and punished him by banishing him to the forest to reflect on his mistakes.

The Fox Clan has another rule: once a fox spirit reaches a certain age, if they haven't cultivated with a human, they'll revert to their original form and never have another chance to become human.

Mo Xue was gloomy and distracted, and accidentally fell into a hunter's trap.

When the hunter came to check, he found an injured, breathtakingly beautiful man. He hurried to rescue him.

The little fox tilted his head and thought it over. This man had saved him, too, so he could repay this kindness as well.

Mo Xue beamed. "I want to marry you!"

The hunter: "Huh? Sure, sure, haha!"

But the icy immortal Cheng Jinglan descended from the sky, his face cold as he scolded the little fox. "Stop fooling around!"

Mo Xue: "Did you come to break us up, or join us?"

Cheng Jinglan: "..."

The Fox Clan's way of thinking... Absurd!

Without another word, he hauled the little fox away and put him under house arrest!
