Emotional Intimacy Stress Disorder

The first time Lu Ming tried smoking, he choked himself into tears. He took a sip of beer and choked himself into tears again.

"It's just a breakup. What are you crying for?" Lu Ming scolded himself. "He cheated. That's why you have to break up."

Lu Ming had been with him since middle school. They'd lived together for three years after graduating from college, and Lu Ming had thought they would get married. But just as he was happily picking out a wedding suit, he heard the man he'd loved for over ten years tenderly say someone else's name, speaking with all the sincerity of a man in love.

Then the man hurriedly backtracked, saying he'd thought he was calling a client. He was so familiar with that client that they often joked around.

Lu Ming didn't believe him. The man's many different scents of cologne, his late nights coming home, his long business trips... all became clues Lu Ming carefully pieced together.

It wasn't that there had been no signs. Lu Ming had simply trusted him too much all along.

He started making a scene and picking fights, until the man coldly snapped, "I'm going to get married and have kids. After being with you this long, I've done more than enough for you."

Lu Ming broke down.

"You only like me for my money. Be good and stay my kept pet. Otherwise, get out!" The man had become a stranger.

That day, the usually quiet Lu Ming went berserk. In the end, he left the man's home covered in bruises, trembling all over.

He had always thought it was their home.

Lu Ming had been hurt so badly that whenever anyone confessed to him or showed that they liked him, he became intensely resistant, his whole body stiffening as he lost control of his emotions.

Things got even worse after he met Qin Ye.

Faced with the relentless pursuit of a cheerful young man two years his junior, Lu Ming's deep emotional trauma turned into a physical reaction, and his nose bled nonstop.

He shouted in agitation, "Whoever dates is a dog!"

But later, as he watched Qin Ye put a wedding ring on his finger with his own hands, he said, "Woof, woof, woof."
