Alien Species [Interstellar]

Ning Fu's spaceship crashes on an uninhabited planet. After surviving alone for a while, she finally encounters one of her own kind. But the other never speaks or sleeps, and always stands silently at the foot of her bed in the dead of night. Even with all his strange habits, Ning Fu is still delighted. At least she is no longer alone on the island.

A few days later, Ning Fu is rescued, but her companion disappears without a trace. No matter how much she insists that there was someone else on the planet, the rescue team doesn't believe her, because their machines detected no other life-form of her kind.

After a period of worry, the person who had spent every day and night with Ning Fu comes looking for her. But his personality is quite different from before. Now he is more cheerful and outgoing, always watching her with a smile and patiently listening as she tells him about everything that happened in the wilderness. Ning Fu already had a soft spot for him, so they naturally began a romantic relationship.

Until one day, Ning Fu sees her boyfriend off, then turns around and finds him standing behind her again.

His voice is hoarse and strained. "I want one too."

Ning Fu is baffled. "What?"

He stares at her lips and says a word he's just learned: "A kiss."
