Horror Game Simulator

*Inspired by The Haunting of Hill House (the best horror series in the world!), American Horror Story: Season 1, and Dark. If you've seen the latter two shows, you can probably guess how twisted and shocking this book will be. [IMPORTANT: It's genuinely twisted and bizarre. All my friends and close acquaintances were shocked. If that's not your thing, please be very, very cautious.]

*Slow burn, with lots of setup.

*Horror ending

--[You have entered the game The Silent Manor.]

--[Your identity: Stepsister/■/■ (Please try to solve the mysteries surrounding you.)]

--[Your mission: Uncover the manor's secrets without being detected, then escape the eerie town.]

You were forcibly pulled into the game. The only way to return to the real world is to clear it or die.

At first, you thought this was just a dark-themed puzzle game, until the System started sending you messages over and over.

--[The Devil is watching you from behind.]

You whipped around, but there was nothing behind you.

--[The Devil is outside your door.]

You scrambled under the bed in a panic. A pair of black shoes stopped right in front of it.

The Devil was the most terrifying presence in the game. It drifted through the manor like a ghost, impossible to track down. You struggled to survive in the manor, and at last found a chance to leave.

But on the very night you were preparing to slip away, your usually gentle yet distant stepbrother suddenly made a strange, passionate confession. As you stood there laughing awkwardly, at a loss for what to do, the System popped up with another message.

--[The Devil is professing his love to you.]
