[Beautiful university lecturer x top-tier star student and actor. Unrequited love becomes mutual, and they save each other.]

Synopsis:

At thirty, Jiang Xingyu seems to have the perfect life everyone envies.

She comes from a wealthy family and is beautiful. Since childhood, she has been the model well-behaved rich girl in everyone's eyes.

As an adult, she does exactly as expected: earns a doctorate, takes a job at a university, meets a handsome and wealthy young man through her parents, and gets married.

After the wedding, her husband makes waves in the business world while she teaches in peace at the university. She continues to live a life everyone envies.

She seems to have become a Barbie doll straight out of a picture-perfect template. Faced with everyone's envy and praise, she appears to have no right even to feel troubled.

Only she knows that, deep down, rebellious blood has always run through her veins. But after years of repression, she has become a dormant volcano.

Sometimes she can't help wondering if she'll spend her whole life just getting by, quietly and uneventfully.

But she has forgotten that even a dormant volcano can erupt one day.

At thirty, in the third year of her marriage, a piece of gossip that barely makes a ripple and a few blurry paparazzi photos give her a first glimpse of how her husband "plays along" at parties.

Everyone tells her to take it in stride. Men are like that. Once they reach his position, with his status and wealth, they're bound by too many constraints and surrounded by temptation. Only an inexperienced young man would spoil the mood in a place like that.

Even her parents take her husband's side.

Her father says, "Young people go through a few bumps in marriage. He's a good kid. He'll know where to draw the line next time."

Her mother says, "It's only because you don't have a child. Once you do, you won't worry about these little rumors anymore."

Jiang Xingyu closes her eyes in despair.

No one is on her side.

And it is then that Chen Chi bursts into her dying life.

The twenty-year-old young man stands before her, radiant with starlight, and reaches out a hand.

"Professor Jiang, how much longer are you planning to live like this?"

In that instant, the world collapses. The volcano that was about to die suddenly erupts.
