The Ungrateful Wretch

[Nothing today either! 2.17] Blurb: Jialuo was the daughter of the Turkic Khagan and a princess of Daye sent to marry him. When she was eight, her father died. Her mother abandoned her and fled the royal city alone to inform Daye, but died along the way. The young Prince of Jin, Li Xuanji, led Daye's army onto the grasslands, completely subdued the Turkic tribes, and brought the orphaned Jialuo back to Yedu. From then on, Jialuo was given the title of princess, raised in the palace, and cared for by the Empress. Everyone said Jialuo was lucky. Though not a drop of royal blood flowed through her veins, she had become one of Daye's treasured princesses despite being an orphan. But Jialuo knew that one day she would have to repay every kindness she had received. Daye had vast territories, with enemies surrounding its borders. Sooner or later, another princess would have to be sent to marry for the sake of peace. Who could be more suitable than an adopted princess of foreign descent? That was her fate. She should have accepted it gladly, waiting gratefully for the day she would travel north in her wedding clothes. But Jialuo was a thankless wolf who could never be tamed. She rejected every kindness and every obligation! To escape her fate of being sent away in marriage, she played one man against another. She would love whoever could give her freedom. And whoever tried to imprison her, she would... kill! Note: A story about an adopted daughter of the royal family. The heroine is not a strong, independent female lead. This is a love-triangle drama with four important male characters. Every man who gets together with the heroine is a virgin. Theme: Love and respect
