The Shackles

A heavy shackle is passed down from woman to woman, generation after generation.

Perhaps it comes from society, perhaps from family, perhaps from within the woman herself.

This novel is grounded in reality and records the ordinary women the author has encountered in real life.

Where memories grow vague, fictional details are used to fill the gaps. It is seventy percent true.

It's all small, everyday character studies. I originally wanted to put it under essays, but it contains too much fiction to be called nonfiction, so I've put it under novels instead. Please don't click in expecting a romance novel!
