After Geto Swallowed a Fanfiction-Loving Cursed Spirit

Good news: Xia Youjun swallowed an incredibly powerful cursed spirit.

Bad news: The cursed spirit was born from the resentment of a fujoshi who couldn't stand her favorite couple not getting together.

The cursed spirit was so powerful that Xia Youjun had a hard time digesting it.

To make matters worse, his strongest friend was affected too, and began showing symptoms based on all kinds of popular fanfiction tropes.

It happened during a routine checkup:

Shoko: "Nothing unusual."

Xia Youjun: "Same here, except for some bloating."

Gojo: "Of course I'm... Ahem, cough, cough, fine!"

He looked up after coughing and saw his friend and teammate staring at him in alarm.

"What are you looking at me for?"

"Gojo," Xia Youjun pointed at the floor. "You just coughed up a few... deep red roses."

*

The language of deep red roses: passion, love, romance.

Gojo: "So what does that mean?"

"It means the cursed spirit has given you hanahaki disease."

Xia Youjun asked nonchalantly, "...Gojo, do you like me?"

"Like you?"

Gojo scoffed.

"As if."

Until he was buried beneath the flowers he coughed up.

*

The fujoshi cursed spirit's influence was lasting and profound, and it could even produce different effects.

Including, but not limited to, [Hanahaki Disease] [A Room You Can't Leave Unless You Do It] [Growing Pains] [ABO] [Sentinel and Guide] [Cake and Fork] [Ten-Centimeter Lovers], and more...

Gojo: "I'm already 190 centimeters tall! Is it really reasonable for my bones to still hurt?!"

Xia Youjun: "= = Don't ask me. I can't do anything about it."

A few things to know before reading

* Gojo and Geto pairing, my take on the pairing: Gojo is gay without realizing it, and Geto knows he's gay.

* There are lots of original elements, and each trope will have its own changes. For example, the "harbored feelings" aspect of hanahaki disease has been removed. Everything in the story takes precedence, all for the sake of the couple!

* This is a sweet romance.

Theme: Don't eat random things
