The Ninth Year After My Death

[Third-person narration] I died. Then I came back to life. This is the nine-hundred-and-sixty-fourth day of the ninth year since my death. Many people hated me when I was alive. They called me shameless, selfish, greedy... Even though I had done none of those things. On the contrary, I had worked myself to the bone, giving everything until my last breath. I kept striving right up to the final second of my life. But can someone tell me: Why are so many people attending the tenth anniversary of my death? Why are my archenemies, my sworn rivals, and the family and friends who cursed me all those years ago sobbing uncontrollably and overwhelmed with regret? * Meng Chengping inherited Jiang Ji's estate and kept his promise. He had promised Jiang Ji that he would live well. This was the ninth year since Jiang Ji left. He felt he couldn't keep going any longer. He wondered if it was cold underground, if anyone cared whether Jiang Ji had dressed warmly, eaten well, or caught a chill. In the tenth year after Jiang Ji left, Meng Chengping thought: It was time to go down and keep him company. He couldn't rest easy with no one looking after Jiang Ji. Content warnings: 1. Still my take on a sickly, beautiful, strong yet tragic character 2. One-on-one romance, happy ending 3. At its heart, still a feel-good, sweet story. The main characters don't suffer. Core theme: Embrace life with all your heart
