Meng Po Is Punished with a Human World Guard Post

Meng Wanyi had a government job in the underworld, working as a Meng Po. She spent her days slacking off, perfectly demonstrating how great it was to be a ghost with a secure position.

But she just couldn't escape her boss's yelling!

"Meng Wanyi! Look at what you've done!"

"This person drank your Meng Po Soup three days ago. It must have been too awful, so a little leaked out again! He's only two, and he's already talking about how he died in battle in his previous life!"

Meng Wanyi rose on her tiptoes to look at the boss's phone. "Boss, you said it yourself, it's a good thing. Look, the comments all say a hero has returned. No one's criticizing us."

She patted the boss on the shoulder. "Don't worry, my Meng Po Soup is definitely super effective! The occasional mistake is still within acceptable limits."

"It's just..." Meng Wanyi said guiltily, "a little hard to drink."

For that shoulder pat, Meng Wanyi was punished by being sent to the mortal world to study cooking!

Meng Wanyi: ...This is a personal vendetta!

The mortal world was full of overworked wage slaves, but slacking off was an absolute necessity. Even if there were no opportunities to slack off, you had to create them yourself.

She glanced at the traditional Chinese medicine clinic next door.

Hehe!

A beautiful health-food blogger had taken the internet by storm.

[I went because of her reputation. That herbal medicine flavor is so authentic... She definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients!]

[To the person above, why don't you mention how after eating it, you never want to eat anything this blogger makes again for the rest of your life? Sob, I was wrong. I'll take better care of my health and stop taking medicine!]

[Ten out of ten! My child wouldn't eat, so I brought them here. After one bite, they hugged me and said, "Mom, your cooking is delicious!"

They never became a picky eater again!]

[Morals are in decline. Just hearing about it is terrifying!]

Meng Wanyi was baffled. Everyone said her cooking tasted bad, so why were more and more customers coming?

Boss, if you don't transfer me back soon, I'm going to become a top food blogger!

And as for the young doctor at the traditional Chinese medicine clinic next door, even though you're as handsome as Pan An, tall, and long-legged, a human and a ghost are destined to be apart.

I'm not interested in a long-distance relationship!
