Pretending to Be Normal in the 1960s

As a pink little octopus who likes to wander through the void, Xiao Zhang figures she must have accidentally blown up her brother's ancestral grave. That must be why, after falling asleep, she opened her eyes to find herself floating on an unfamiliar planet, mistaken for the eldest daughter of the Xiao family, who had fallen into the sea not long ago.

They say the Xiao family were great landowners before Liberation, but the eldest daughter's father drank, gambled, and chased women, squandering the entire family fortune just as Liberation came around...

They say the Xiao girl didn't accidentally fall into the sea at all. She was thrown in by villains who coveted the Xiao family's wealth...

They say...

Xiao Zhang covers her wriggling tentacles and bares her teeth. Yes, yes, whatever you say...
