The Fourth Calamity Is Here, Yet I’ve Become a Panda!

The Fourth Calamity has arrived, and Earth has become a playground.

Calling themselves noble players, beings from a higher dimension treat Earth as a virtual world, indulging in wanton slaughter.

To resist the invasion from higher dimensions, the era of nationwide Phantom Domains begins. Unfortunately, the national Phantom Domains of one great power after another suffer defeat.

Just as the whole world falls into panic, the pyramids are decoded, the Statue of Liberty becomes a popular photo spot, and the Great Wall is besieged and on the verge of falling, a gigantic beast that devours the heavens appears. With the force of swallowing mountains and rivers, it catches the enemy and chomps them down, turning the tide in an instant.

Ming Xin: Who are you calling a heaven-devouring beast? Since some ancient legend, I've been the master of the War God Chi You. I'm no one's mount!

When Ming Xin wakes up, she finds herself sitting atop Mount Shu, clutching a bright green bamboo shoot.

She has become a panda. A black-and-white, fluffy creature that makes its living by being adorable: a giant panda.

Newly arrived and clueless, Ming Xin thinks she's become a wild panda living on Mount Shu. All she does every day is eat. Then one day, a player squad calling themselves a "Level 100 Elite Team" storms the mountain gate and aims their cannons at the bamboo grove behind Ming Xin.

"Look! A rare neutral creature, a national treasure panda!"

"Catch it as a pet! It'll fetch a fortune!"

"Why are you taking screenshots? Don't just stand there!"

They excitedly crowd around and scan Ming Xin with an appraisal spell. The feedback is only one line:

[??? Level: ??? Note: Seems to really like eating hard things.]

Ming Xin sighs and slowly sets down the bamboo shoot she's halfway through. They don't know that in an even more ancient version, she had a more imposing name: the Iron-Eating Beast.

That magic-energy annihilation cannon aimed at her looks... very hard and very tasty.

As the players' System interface frantically flashes: Warning! Unknown mythical entity encountered!

As their invincibility, resurrection, and Hearthstones all turn gray due to "contamination by unknown rules,"

Ming Xin simply opens her mouth.

Devour the Fourth Calamity?

All right, another day of the panda saving the world!

Theme: Everyone must resist the Fourth Calamity, and animals are part of everyone!
