Come Here and Lie Down, Time for a Grooming

Su Zhou heard an elder of the clan say that the fastest and best way to improve one's cultivation was dual cultivation.

So Su Zhou went down the mountain with a strip of dried fish in its mouth to find a partner.

It was incredibly lucky and met a cat it liked at first sight on the very first day.

Su Zhou was overjoyed. Struggling to keep its composure, it offered the other cat its most precious dried fish as a meeting gift.

The black cat, who was a whole size bigger than Su Zhou, turned around and left.

Su Zhou: ?

That was the biggest, most delicious strip of dried fish! It couldn't even bear to eat it itself!

Just as Su Zhou was on the verge of shutting down, the black cat returned, carrying an opened tin in its mouth. It pushed it in front of Su Zhou with a fluffy black paw.

It smelled so good. Su Zhou cautiously took a taste, and its pupils widened.

Do city cats always eat this well?

Exchanging delicious food counted as a token of affection. At least, that was what Su Zhou thought, so it happily followed the black cat home and jumped into its nest.

Then the black cat pinned its little belly with a paw, slobbered all over its face with its tongue, and groomed it, and groomed it, and groomed it some more.

Once it was done grooming, it bit the scruff of Su Zhou's neck, carried it to the litter box, and personally taught it how to use the toilet.

Su Zhou: ?

First of all, it was a spirit, not a pitiful stray kitten.

Second, it was looking for a dual-cultivation partner, not a mom!

The black cat personally demonstrated how to use the litter box.

Su Zhou saw it clearly.

...This was a male cat.

A fluffy, adorable, sweet little story. Short novella.
