The Queen Seems to Be Hiding Something from Me

A lighthearted Western fantasy ABO sweet treat

Ryan swears that in his twenty years of life, not even his strangest, most depraved fantasies ever included the scene before him

He has the crown prince of the Helioros Empire, an omega named Adlan Kallien-Heliopolis, pinned in the corner of the bed, wantonly kissing the cheeks and neck of the person in his arms. Adlan clings limply to his arm, cheeks flushed and eyes glistening, his overwhelming pheromones nearly drowning Ryan whole.

Ryan: “...”

Oh God, he’s actually sharing a bed with His Highness! He’s actually doing this to Adlan! If the royal guard catches him, they’ll throw him in the dungeon and hang him from the city walls to dry for three months, until he’s nothing but a wriggling piece of jerky!

The omega raises his shimmering eyes and looks at him in surprise. “But we already...”

Already become legally married!

Ryan wakes up with his memories gone, on the bed on his wedding night several years in the future.

His future self has not only been chosen by everyone to rule the kingdom, but has also just completed a political marriage with Adlan, crown prince of a neighboring nation. The whole kingdom is eagerly waiting for him and Adlan to produce an heir as soon as possible, bringing the royal court the glory of a continued bloodline.

Ryan: “...”

What’s going on? I have no idea! I haven’t even started dating my unfamiliar wife yet. Isn’t it a little soon to start making a baby?

The Heliopeiros, descendants of the gods, kings of kings, and bearers of a curse.

They are aloof and cold, violent and unhinged. They have repeatedly stirred up chaos and conflict, relying on their innately overwhelming magic to run rampant across the continent.

Until one day, Adlan, crown prince of the Heliopeiros, secretly falls for someone.

Though he has successfully secured an engagement to the person he loves, Adlan can’t help wondering: The person he loves has such noble character. Could he really love someone like him... someone incomplete, a heartless monster?

So Adlan studies for a long time, learning to rein in his claws and smooth away his sharp edges, trying to be a normal person, someone that person might be able to love.

He is still trying right up until the day they fulfill their engagement.

What? That person loses his memory on their wedding night?

Two happy occasions at once! Adlan is so delighted he could jump for joy.

His opinion score, which had dropped below zero, has suddenly returned to zero overnight!!

The once-all-conquering warrior, now even more of an impossibly cool and powerful warrior king top × the once-all-conquering warrior, now a pure lovesick bottom who only wants to be a sweet wife

Tips:

1. A very trope-heavy, domineering-top-and-sweet-bottom ABO story. Every supporting character exists to serve the couple. Pure sugar, low-fat, fluffy and silly. I guarantee on my good name that there will be no misunderstandings or angst between the couple. If there are any, it’ll be because they’re plotting to trick someone else.

2. The second half of the blurb is from the bottom’s point of view alone. The top has always loved him just as much, both before and after losing his memory.

3. No chapters are stockpiled, just a rough outline of the main plot. I write wherever my thoughts take me, so details might contradict one another and I may revise the text frequently.

4. There’s a certain amount of war-related content. However, the nonmagical aspects of this world are broadly based on premodern Western society, where war was practically the rule and peace the exception. Just enjoy the story, and please don’t read too much into it.

5. Every so often, my little head suddenly takes control of my big head and writes something so vulgar I can barely stand to look at it...

6. The main story probably won’t include childbirth. If it does, it may be in an extra.
