[Genshin Impact] After Recovering My Memories, I Return to 500 Years Ago

Although he has traveled back to the harmonious Tatarasuna of five hundred years ago, it's a little too late. The Doctor has already done most of his dirty work. He's already collided with the Irminsul once, so he knows the key to the Doctor's plot is the smelting furnace. But he's a pure fighter, not a fixer. He can shut the furnace down, but he can't repair it. (Incidentally, even shutting it down back then required one of the Doctor's devices.) Luckily, he has a bit of a connection with the Lesser Lord Kusanali, the god who presides over all knowledge. Repairing a furnace should be a piece of cake. He just needs to ask her. The only problem is that the Lesser Lord Kusanali has lost all her power and memories, and is currently being held under house arrest by the Sumeru Akademiya. As for asking Raiden Ei for help, that's absolutely out of the question. He already tried in his previous life, and it was completely useless. The Wanderer stands atop a jutting cliff in Tatarasuna five hundred years ago. He looks up at the sky, down at the great smelting furnace, then at the hundreds of craftsmen bustling about in the valley. They wear the same clothes he remembers, and among them, a smiling puppet in white looks exactly like him. How absurd that fate is: unpredictable, capricious, and ridiculous. After he tried to save those he had once known by erasing himself completely, fate let him know that he had failed to change a thing. And after he broke free of his shackles and truly became the same pitiful self he had once been, fate turned around and sent him back to five hundred years ago, pretending to be merciful. No matter how much the Wanderer curses fate, at this very moment, the living, breathing Niwa Hisahide is standing within his reach. How could he possibly stand by and do nothing? Tips: 1. Strictly speaking, the Tatarasuna incident should have taken place 450 to 500 years before the main story. Sometimes, for convenience, I'll round it up to five hundred. 2. Updates are irregular. 3. There are many original characters, but most are bit players who appear for no more than three chapters. The only protagonist is Scaramouche himself. 4. Original title: [Genshin Impact Scaramouche/Wanderer-Centric] The Lotus World 5. Genshin Impact fan fiction only, not a crossover. 6. Most of the story is lighthearted daily life, with the main goal of erasing every regret (fist pump). 7. This story began serialization in 2023 and was revised in 2026. I can't promise I'll get everything right. If anything in the revised story contradicts current canon, please point it out (bows). Theme: Helping your past self become a better person.
