I Became a Hater, Then Married My Idol

Blurb: Jiang Bai is a longtime anti-fan of superstar Jiang Ningchen. Because of certain things, he is convinced that Jiang Ningchen is a sanctimonious hypocrite.

Unfortunately, Jiang Ningchen has built such a convincing public persona that more and more people are taken in, and his fame grows with every passing year.

When Jiang Bai exposes Jiang Ningchen's true nature, nobody believes him. Instead, netizens launch personal attacks against him.

Jiang Bai is furious:

You people let looks dictate your values!

Inspired by a celebrity fan who turned against their idol after the star's downfall, Jiang Bai comes up with a new plan:

He will pretend to be a Jiang Ningchen fan!

To become a more convincing big fan as quickly as possible, Jiang Bai grits his teeth and supports Jiang Ningchen:

He meets him at the airport, follows his schedule, sends handwritten letters...

He never misses a single fan event.

Every time he posts "Brother, you're so handsome" in the fan group,

he also reposts scandalous rumors and ugly pictures deliberately cropped by anti-fans on his main account, then chats away in the anti-fan group until there are 999+ new messages to calm himself down.

Determined to expose Jiang Ningchen's true nature to the world, Jiang Bai soon works his way into Jiang Ningchen's fan club.

He even becomes a familiar face to the star himself.

Jiang Bai keeps up his anti-fan-posing-as-a-fan act perfectly, until one day...

His secret identity is exposed right in front of the star.

Jiang Ningchen thinks one of his little fans looks at him with burning intensity.

At first, he assumes it's admiration. Later...

Jiang Ningchen, who has just taken off his anti-fan disguise, holds the letter Jiang Bai has just given him as a devoted fan and leisurely reads aloud:

"Brother Ningchen, today marks the tenth year of my loving you..."

Called out to his face, Jiang Bai's face instantly turns bright red.

Jiang Ningchen raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure it's love? Hmm?"

P.S. The love interest hasn't done anything wrong. It's all a misunderstanding.
