Guan You was horrified. Without even stopping to wonder where the assistant had gone, he hurriedly pulled Wei Tanqiao over to the wall and said he was discussing something important. He begged him to please, for the love of all that was good, put his powers away.

But the kid’s eyes were red, and he was fuming. “Discussing something important? Aren’t you on a blind date?”

As the commotion around them grew louder, Guan You felt a headache coming on and desperately wanted to drag Wei Tanqiao away.

But Wei Tanqiao was no longer a little kid. He stood his ground and pointed at the person sitting across from Guan You. “What do you think I’m trying to do? What are you trying to do? Didn’t you say you didn’t like him?”

Guan You looked thoroughly confused. “What are you even talking about?”

Wei Tanqiao’s eyes grew even redder. “Stop lying to me! Don’t you like my uncle? You only went on this blind date because he got married, didn’t you?”
