[Harry Potter] The Time Traveler's Lover

Legend has it that the Winchester family once had an ancestor who could travel freely through the currents of time. She could appear in any era at will, like the freest of travelers, singing and riding the waves in the most mysterious ocean known to humankind.

Elisa is the second Winchester to possess the ability to travel through time.

She is the apple of the entire Winchester family's eye. She gets first pick of every resource in the family. Whatever she wants, all she has to do is ask, and it's hers.

She wears the most magnificent embroidered robes, jingling with glittering jewels. A golden crown rests on her head like a Roman emperor's, and dragon-leather boots carry her proudly through the family's grand estate, wherever she pleases.

She has her family catch ten goblins for a relay race. She has them stack golden apples into a champagne tower, then smash them one by one with golf clubs. She has them climb to the summit of the world's highest mountain to place a star from her favorite Christmas tree there...

But there are things even she can't have, like invisible Wrackspurts that can control time, and the hero of her favorite story, a tale of courage, devotion, and sacrifice.
