Adopted by a Wealthy Family After Turning into a Cat

At the very first second of his eighteenth birthday, Chi Chu turns into a cat.

His backpack lies beside him, and countless enormous beings loom before his eyes.

The good news: nobody saw.

The bad news: nobody saw!!

Chi Chu struggles to control his four legs, grabs his backpack in his mouth, and runs home.

But when he reaches the door, he hesitates.

Dark night, high winds, a lone cat, and beside him... an electric scooter?

The man on the scooter wears casual clothes. One long leg is bent, with his foot resting on the footboard. Leaning back, he grips the edge of the seat with a large, handsome hand, his dark eyes fixed on the cat, Chi Chu.

The man stands and walks over, smiling. "Little stray? Want to come home with me?"

Before Chi Chu can even meow, the man scoops him up and drops him into the scooter's basket. In a flash, they're at a villa.

Chi Chu: "?"

Wait, are all rich young masters this down-to-earth? They ride electric scooters when they go out?

Shen Qing decides to buy a cat. He visits most of the pet shops around, but can't find one he likes.

Then, as he's resting by the roadside, a fluffy shape slowly enters the corner of his eye.

It stops moving.

He looks over, thinking he must be seeing things because he's so tired.

Otherwise, why would that cat be typing on a phone?

This must be the cat chosen for him by fate.

He's going to lure it home.

The moment the electric scooter stops at the villa, a youthful voice sounds beside his ear:

[Are all rich young masters this down-to-earth? They ride electric scooters when they go out?]

Shen Qing suddenly thinks he really is exhausted tonight.

The next moment, the voice sounds again:

[Open the door already. Let me see what breed I am.]

Chi Chu wants to play the part of a cat properly, but he just can't sit still. And after experiencing a cat's jumping ability, he becomes even less able to sit still.

He darts around without knocking anything over, but as he enjoys the feeling of flying, he lands smack on Shen Qing's face. His cool, damp nose touches Shen Qing's, and a burning, tingling sensation spreads through his whole body.

Chi Chu happily looks at his long-missed hands, then beams at Shen Qing.

"I'm back to normal!!"

Shen Qing looks down.
