My Savior Is the Bespectacled Host from Kabukicho

My name is Saito Yui, and I have been reborn before the end of the world.

Five years from now, Earth will face an unprecedented catastrophe. A mysterious virus known as the "White Curse" will sweep across the world, destroying the home humanity depends on at terrifying speed.

In that future, where social order has already collapsed, I meet a man like a hero, who drops from the sky with a wooden sword engraved with "Lake Toya" at his waist.

Without a doubt, this man is the legendary samurai capable of saving the world.

Reborn, I decide to head to Edo early and find my glasses-wearing savior. If it's him, I'm sure he'll be able to stop the tragic future that has yet to arrive!

But can someone tell me... why does my savior look like this five years ago?

Clutching the arm I'd just injured in the collision, Saito Yui stares dumbfounded at the two men lying on the ground.

One has a wooden sword at his waist, and the other wears glasses. In perfect unison, they say:

"Hey, you knocked us over. Pay up!"

Saito Yui: How am I supposed to save you, my savior, when you're about to get hauled off to the police station for staging an accident?

Gintama only. The male lead is Shinpachi.

It wasn't really a staged accident. There's a reason, which will be explained in the story.

A sweet slice-of-life romance. The main plot takes place during the Eien era. Start date undecided.

Theme: Even heroes have to grow up.
