[Headless DRRR] Diary of an Information Broker

My boss is an information broker.

His greatest hobby is choosing people as test subjects, writing plots for them, and enjoying the sight of them breaking down. He calls it observing humanity.

I'm the test subject he chose.

But I'm not human.

What Izaya loves most is humanity.

He loves observing every word and deed, every joy and sorrow. Among the people he observes, there's one strange "person."

Her name is Morio Enako.

No matter how bizarre a scenario Izaya writes for Enako, she goes along with it. Even when she learns that she's being observed, she remains unfazed.

The more she acts this way, the more Izaya wants to know where her limits lie.

Until one day...

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not human."

Hearing her say that, Izaya realizes his interest hasn't diminished in the slightest. After a long time thinking it over, he finally understands.

"Even though you're not human, I still feel an intense curiosity about you... I see. This must be what they call love!" Izaya declares to himself. "I love Enako, so Enako... should love me too."

Morio Enako: "..."

Is that how it works? Human love is so hard to understand.

Durarara!! only, no crossover. Male lead: Izaya. One-on-one romance.

A super niche premise, written for my own enjoyment. It may get pretty wild, and this might be a dark, twisted love story. It will touch on the main plot of Durarara!! (Does Durarara!! even have one?). Anyway, if you like it, please add it to your favorites (heart).

Premise: Beware of noncompliant test subjects
