Liangmi, a stray cat with a bad temper and a love of fighting, gets bullied by the other strays until he's so hungry he meows nonstop. Because he's pretty and has sleek fur, the owner of a cat cafe snatches him up to work like a dog. His daily pay: one bowl of cat food, two cans, and three tubes of cat treats!
On his first day, Liangmi clumsily wanders around the cafe, but the customers all avoid him because his temper is just too awful.
One day, a man in a wheelchair comes to the cat cafe. He stays where he is, motionless, silently watching the cats wander around.
The other pretty cats keep their distance, looking for other customers to pet and cuddle them and give them treats. Only Liangmi stays where he is, tilting his head to look at the man with curiosity.
Man and cat silently gaze at each other.
Liangmi's eyes light up: Human, you came out in a chair with wheels! That's so cool!
Liang Jiu lowers his eyes: ...
Is this cat a little slow?
**
Later, Liang Jiu comes every day. He doesn't pet the cats, just sits where he is and watches the pretty cats fearfully avoid him. But there's always one cat with beautiful blue eyes who stumbles over to him and quietly sits by his legs.
Half a month later, Liangmi is adopted by Liang Jiu. At last, he has a home of his own.
Liangmi: Pretend for half a month, live in luxury for the rest of my life. Plan successful.
**
A few months later, the cat master's temper gets worse and worse. He scratches everyone he sees and fights every dog. The only time he behaves is when he's in Liang Jiu's arms.
Liang Jiu thinks Liangmi must have been sent by heaven to save him.
One morning, Liang Jiu wakes up to find a delicate-looking young man crawling out from under the covers. The boy's beautiful blue eyes stare at him without blinking, exactly like his cat's.
The boy mutters as he clambers all over Liang Jiu, using both hands and feet to rub against him: Liang Jiu, Liang Jiu, I'm hungry. I want food!
