He can smell pheromones but can't do anything about it, and it'll be hard for him to find a real wife in the future. Qin Sijin confesses, "I've had tests done. There's only one way I can sense compatibility." He looks Li Yuhuai right in the eyes, utterly sincere. "Would you help me treat it?" Li Yuhuai nods firmly. "Sure!" He thinks optimistically that the contract will be over in a few months anyway, and helping his poor employer is no big deal. He keeps thinking that right up until Qin Sijin's next rut. By then, Li Yuhuai is lying on the bed with a blank stare, his legs twitching reflexively. At last, he understands. Alphas are all devious! Notes: 1.
