The Samoyed's Double Dog Personality

Told in third person

[Female Lead's Perspective]

My life was destined to be extraordinary.

1. I witnessed the killer in the South City serial murder case commit a crime.

2. I discovered that the dog at home had become a spirit.

After narrowly escaping the killer, I came home and found Ning Guoqing acting very strangely.

So strange. Far too strange.

I'd lived with it for years, and I knew Ning Guoqing was just a silly, sweet, affectionate little dog.

But that day, instead of wagging its tail to greet me at the door, Ning Guoqing was sprawled on the soft sofa watching cartoons.

It had turned on the TV itself, chosen the show itself, and was watching with great interest.

But I didn't think much of it until one night, when I got up to use the bathroom. In the pitch darkness, a man grabbed my wrist.

I fought back with all my strength and flipped on the light.

There he was, with two furry ears on his head and his tail clutched in his arms, staring at me mournfully.

I recognized those eyes. He was the one who saved me.

[Male Lead's Perspective]

As a god of the dead, I guide departed souls and dispel resentment, but I must not interfere with life and death, or I will be punished.

Of course, I couldn't care less about the lives and deaths of these vulgar humans.

That day, I had just dealt with the last departed soul and was on my way home when I came across a woman being chased by a masked man with a knife.

It had nothing to do with me. I was about to go around them when the woman grabbed my wrist.

How bold of her.

I tried to shake her off, but the masked man came at me with his knife.

I really don't understand what goes on in human minds.

I kicked the faceless guy, and he went flying. The woman ran off, and I left too.

Strangely, after I left, everything suddenly went black. When I opened my eyes again, I had become a dog.

My powers had disappeared too.
