Naruto Cosplayer Shocks the Entire Ninja World

[Upcoming: What? Naruto Is an Omega?! This is a reaction fic. The blurb is at the very bottom. Please add it to your collection~]

What’s it like to transmigrate in a dark, melodramatic alternate-universe cosplay and appear in front of the original characters, forced to play the part?

Naruto: Thanks for asking. I’ve already died of embarrassment.

Naruto: This is the kind of disastrous journey that turns an extrovert into an introvert.

What if you’re bound to a fanfiction setting extraction System, and the System even comes with an adjustment mode?

Naruto: ...Sakura, Hinata, write me a normal script!

Naruto: I’m called the Fourth Hokage’s master from the start, and Snake Uncle’s mommy. This is so scary!

Naruto, the beloved mascot of the Will of Fire cosplay group, transmigrates while cosplaying at a convention. It’s a one-way ticket: no return trip, but he can summon his friends over to become the Fourth Calamity.

But summoning friends requires shock value, and extracting character settings to become stronger also requires shock value.

To survive and protect the bonds he had before and has now, he can only grit his teeth and go along with it.

Here are the character settings he draws:

[Root Naruto] He is a Root test subject, a relic of the Uchiha.

[Akatsuki Naruto] The light of dawn. Red clouds and black robes offer the world the gift of its destruction.

[Senju Naruto] When Susanoo wearing the Buddha and Susanoo wearing the Nine-Tails descend upon the Warring States era, this world will take the shape of Konoha.

[ABO Naruto] The scent of citrus and sunflowers is the best gift the world could give everyone.

[Fox Demon Naruto] They say fox demons have two genders. Do you like Naruto or Naruko?

There are more, depending on what inspiration strikes later.

● At heart, this is probably a melodramatic, silly story about tormenting characters for laughs, born from revisiting the original and reading fanfiction.

● Naruto is loved by everyone. The pairing is Sasuke and Naruto, with other one-sided feelings from men and women, melodrama, outrageous crack pairings, and even more melodramatic character settings. Please take note if you dislike these or have strong preferences.

● The story is meant to be a group-favorite fic, but it also has angst and hurt. Decide for yourself how you feel about it. My writing is limited, so I may not be able to make the sad parts hit hard.

● When he plays a character setting, the System will control his performance in some scenes. Please interpret that as you see fit.

● The Otsutsuki will appear, but there will be no next generation, since I haven’t watched the anime.

● There will be gender-swapping scenes, since Naruko is also part of Naruto. They will be clearly marked.

● The cosplay group members are counterparts of original characters, and their family and blood relationships with one another have changed.

● If anything differs from the original, just treat it as an alternate-universe setting. The timeline will be as chaotic as usual.

● If you’re okay with all of the above, see you in the story.
