After five years of traveling through dreams, becoming his friends' twin younger brother and living through several dream lives, Chizuki completed his mission and retired. Then he discovered that the people from his dreams were starting to remember what had happened in them.

Remembering the bad endings he'd brought about in the dreams to break them, and how he'd turned all his brothers into younger-brother-obsessed men, Chizuki felt like he couldn't breathe.

● Family affection takes up a large part of the story.

● The good guys are protected. After remembering the past, anyone not on the good side will automatically have their memories of undercover good-side members blocked if those members have not been exposed.

● A conventional fix-it story, with angst, a bit of melodrama, and familiar tropes.

● Lots of headcanon, a chaotic timeline that serves the plot, and definitely out-of-character moments. If the writing is bad, that's on me, so please don't blame the characters!

● The dream journeys have already ended when the story begins. The events will be recounted through the return of memories.

● Some parts of the dream stories follow the original plot, while others have nothing to do with it. You can think of them as alternate-universe routes.

Chunwu Feiniao is the beloved member of a Detective Conan cosplay group, famous in the community for cosplaying as little black figures.

As a socially anxious teenager, only the little black bodysuit makes him feel safe.

Whether he's playing a suspect, a killer, a victim, or a mysterious stranger, as long as his face is hidden, he can portray the role perfectly.

One day, while at a group outing, Chunwu Feiniao misses a step and accidentally transmigrates into Detective Conan. To make matters worse, he gets bound to a system called [Automatic Sign-In and Roleplay], which is enough to make anyone with social anxiety suffocate.

Even worse, the roles come from all kinds of Detective Conan fanfiction and cosplay photos created by his friend Sonoko.

In front of the original characters and forum users, he has to portray a character with a mishmash of traits and an exciting storyline all by himself, and convince everyone that his character is real.

Looking at the handful of roles fixed for the rest of his life and the cosplay photos he has to recreate, Chunwu Feiniao gradually feels his soul leaving his body.

How is he supposed to make every role appear plausibly, then get everyone from the red and black sides, alive or dead, to recreate the scenes in the cosplay photos with him?

Chunwu Feiniao is bewildered. Then inspiration strikes, and he receives a care package of help from his cosplay group friends.

From then on, the socially anxious Feiniao uses his roles to prop up an entirely fabricated parallel world. With his friends' help as they transmigrate and pose for photos with him, he stirs up a storm between the red and black sides.

Chunwu Feiniao: At first, I was just socially anxious.

On a faded, old photograph in a wallet, the six-petaled cherry blossoms of that year are in full bloom. Six people with dreams in their hearts have their arms around one another's shoulders, smiling brightly.

This is a brief, happy spring day without a shadow in sight.

[Silent Caged Bird]

A black iron cage, cold silver chains, and a boy sitting on red velvet, his dull, empty eyes fixed on a skylight. He lets the silver wolf before him fasten heavy shackles around his wrists.

A bird raised by a lone wolf will never escape the wolf's cage.

[Circled by Crows]

Onstage, under the spotlight, the boy smiles brightly, but blood stains his chest. Where the light cannot reach, black crows surround him, silently watching their dove with greedy affection, covetousness, and curiosity.

A dove will not turn black, only red with blood. He will never become a crow.

[Moriarty]

The blue-eyed detective takes the gun from the boy's hand and gently pulls the trigger. A black-haired girl holds her index finger to her lips, smiling mysteriously. The boy sitting in the soft red chair is bewildered, his body manipulated by strings. At the other ends of those strings are the detective and his Watson.

Shh, be quiet. Don't disturb their hunt. Don't disturb the dove that has fallen into the trap.
