This is Jason Todd. Or, at least, it used to be.
It's not that complicated.
In short, I transmigrated to World B and became Jason Todd, then ended up in World C for certain reasons.
Life in World C was pretty great. I finally went to college, which I'd never set foot in during either of my two lives. I also got a temporary break from the life of gambling with my own life in a hail of gunfire, and made a bunch of interesting friends. I was doing really well in a game that was unique to this world.
Until my dad showed up.
At the time, my friends and I were caught up in one of those scenes where a male lead from a wish-fulfillment novel is supposed to rise up and slap his opponents in the face.
That's when my dad appeared.
The moment he showed up, people started whispering. One voice stood out above the rest, shouting his identity to the whole room:
“Bruce Wayne!”
Holy shit, did the worlds merge?
While I was grappling with the three great philosophical questions, my dad used his years of face-slapping experience to steal the spotlight from my buddy. After insulting that one-chapter minor villain until he turned red, without using a single swear word, he gracefully left the stage and let the actual wish-fulfillment novel protagonist deliver the finishing blow.
Then, in a daze, I heard my dad making some Lego-level excuse about how I had “run away from home in a huff because he wouldn't let me play video games on his work computer,” clearly taking a dig at me.
On the ride back to Happy Internet Cafe, my friend asked me, “Did you really run away from home for a reason like that?”
I thought through at least a season's worth of anime backstory, then denied it decisively: “Of course not. He unplugged my internet, too!”
I shouted out a line from a Jump series: “I did it for my dream!”
That shut them up.
After all, three people in the car could be called rebellious enough to ditch everything and go play games.
1. Third-person narration
2. OOC warning
3. An excessive amount of dark humor
4. I just wanted to play with tropes and have fun tormenting the characters
Theme: Yes, I still love this world, no matter what happened in the past or what may happen in the future
