You Fool, I've Had a Crush on You for Ages

I have a childhood friend.

The kind who's been going against me for as long as I can remember.

In kindergarten, I gave candy to another boy, so he went home and took all my candy.

In elementary school, I traded milk with my deskmate, and he turned around and drank the milk someone else had given me.

In middle school, a boy confessed to me, so he went straight to the teacher and reported that I was dating.

In high school, everyone said we were sworn enemies.

But when he was unexpectedly injured in an accident, I realized how important he was to me and confessed to him through tears.

His eyes red, he smiled and said, "You idiot. I've had a crush on you for ages."
