The Mistress of the Northern Abyss Is a Rabbit

My name is Tang Min, a rabbit spirit who has cultivated for three hundred years.

To get out of an arranged marriage, I slipped the marriage contract to my scheming stepsister, Liu Susu.

But then Pei Yanci, the murderous ruler of Beiyuan, came looking for me.

He said, “The contract specifies a biological daughter of the White Rabbit Clan. She isn't one.”

I thought he'd recognized who I was, so I turned and ran.

In the middle of the night, I transformed into a palm-sized white rabbit and tried to escape over the wall, but he grabbed me by the scruff and lifted me up. “What's the rush?”

He tucked me against his chest and stroked me from head to tail.

It turned out I was the rabbit he'd rescued three hundred years ago. After I ran away, he'd spent three hundred years looking for me and painting me, and had even gone to my father to arrange our marriage himself.

Pei Yanci said I owed him three hundred years of petting, plus another hundred years as punishment for running away.

Four hundred years, not a single day less.
