Chu Ruo'an, a minor character in a book, suddenly finds a book outlining the plot. He's the unimportant character who appears just once before disappearing from the story.

His idol is the protagonist's supervillain, who turns to hate out of love and crashes into walls for love over and over.

Planning to play matchmaker and, in the process, watch firsthand as his idol goes crazy for love, Chu Ruo'an sneaks into the scene where the protagonist first appears. But no such person can be found, and instead he unexpectedly forms a connection with his idol.

Later, Chu Ruo'an thinks his idol's part in the book is over and the two can start a happy life together.

Only later does Chu Ruo'an understand why his idol is the ultimate villain: he's a lunatic!

Later still, Chu Ruo'an accepts that his idol is insane. Now can someone explain how this erotic showbiz novel suddenly turned into a bizarre world? And why is his idol the bizarre world's biggest boss, the Devil himself?

Is having this boyfriend really necessary?
