You, or Someone Like You

Like many ordinary people living in this world,

Yao Yunsheng thought she was just an unremarkable housewife,

the kind no one would look at twice in a crowd.

If she had to name an advantage,

it was probably that she had a happy family and a handsome, considerate husband.

Because of a car accident Yao Yunsheng had years ago,

they couldn't have children.

Though she regretted it a little,

Yao Yunsheng didn't think it changed anything.

After all, her husband, Wei Siming, had once said:

"Darling, I only want you to see me. Even a child would be a third party intruding on our world."

Well, in some circumstances,

Yao Yunsheng had to admit her husband had a certain flaw.

But he was already perfect enough.

Even saints have things that need to be forgiven.

Yao Yunsheng thought her life

would go on peacefully and happily like this,

growing old together with the husband she loved.

Then one day, her husband's younger brother moved into their home.

While her husband was cooking, taking out the trash, or working late at the office,

his younger brother would silently corner Yao Yunsheng,

speaking in a restrained, obsessive, and frenzied voice:

"Wei Siming is nothing but a shameless, despicable thief."

"Shengsheng, I was supposed to be your husband."

Theme: To love someone is to love all of them.
