Mother of Monsters, Savior of the World

A massive spacecraft from beyond the heavens secretly crashed on Blue Star.

Beautiful and evil beings known as angels ran rampant across the lands where humanity lived.

Many years later,

Lily still dreamed.

She dreamed of the days gone by, of her brother's deep blue eyes, her adoptive father's gentle smile, and the dull but peaceful days they had shared.

In her dreams,

she was still unremarkable, but her family was happy, her life peaceful and content.

But when she opened her eyes,

what lay before her was a scene straight out of hell.

Countless golden eyeballs surrounded her.

In the distance, silhouettes with long, slender tentacles waved through the thin mist.

Faint voices reached her ears.

They called her by name,

and called her "Mother."
