After Picking Up a Dull, Aloof Puppy

Short story pending

Cold, cute-but-dumb, single-minded assassin × scrappy, stubborn maid heroine who refuses to let anyone get the better of her

Huan San (Qin An) × Qin Yao

Ancient transmigration setting, absurd and nonsensical

Qin Yao transmigrated. On her fifth day here, on a rainy night, she rescued an injured puppy.

The puppy had lost his memory and only remembered that he was an assassin.

Terrified, Qin Yao wanted to send him away, but the puppy looked at her with damp, pleading eyes, and she softened.

She never expected that this moment of weakness would bring her so much trouble later.

After losing an argument with the village busybody, Qin Yao returned home in low spirits.

The puppy picked up his twin blades, eyes sharp. "I'll go kill her."

Qin Yao: "No!"

Qin Yao went to the market to buy vegetables. She tried to haggle with a vendor, but they couldn't agree on a price, so she came home defeated.

The puppy picked up his twin blades again. "I'll go kill him."

Qin Yao: "No, no, no!"

After that, time and again, the puppy would say, "I'll go kill him/her/it."

Qin Yao: "..."

Just kill me instead.

But she never expected that one day, the puppy would really hold his twin blades to her throat.

Only then did she learn that he wasn't a puppy, but a vicious hound with his fangs sheathed.

And on the night he lost his memory, she had been the person he was supposed to kill.

One-on-one, both leads are each other's first, happy ending.

A little melodramatic, but sweet at heart.

As for killing the heroine, that's simply impossible!

The puppy would never kill his owner!
