Drowned in Heat [Childhood Friends]

[The full novel costs just one cup of milk tea. Please support the official release, and don't buy only the bonus chapters.]

[Please add my next novel, Private Scheme, a fake-siblings romance with coercive seduction and possessive love!]

Cold, domineering, brooding hottie x timid, slow-witted, honest, soft-hearted girl

-

Jiang Letao met Xie Xunian when she was five, and the two grew up together as childhood friends.

Xie Xunian was aloof and desireless, the very image of an untouchable beauty, yet he was still adored by everyone, and his admirers never stopped coming.

No one but Jiang Letao knew how vicious his nature was beneath that cool exterior, or how terrifyingly controlling he could be with her.

"Kiss me."

"Feed me."

"Go to the same university as me."

When he started trying to control even her future, Jiang Letao couldn't take it anymore. She decided to run away.

At the very last moment before boarding a plane to G City, she sent the long-drafted text ending their friendship, then blocked every one of Xie Xunian's contact accounts.

Xie Xunian was too proud to tolerate rejection. He would never come looking for her. Jiang Letao was sure of it.

But a few days later, she was terrified to see his tall figure waiting outside her university.

Xie Xunian picked out her familiar figure in the crowd. Holding an admissions letter identical to the one in Jiang Letao's hands, he slowly curled his lips into a sinister smile.

Jiang Letao, I've come to catch you.

On her first day in G City, Jiang Letao posted on her social media: [A fresh start. Looking forward to tomorrow.]

On the nth day after Xie Xunian caught her, she leaned against the man in his arms, her face and neck flushed red.

Xie Xunian's breath was hot. He bit her earlobe and murmured hoarsely, "Taotao, is this the tomorrow you were looking forward to?"

Both leads are each other's first love and have no previous sexual partners.
