Ming Ge knew from a very young age that she couldn't accept love as society understood it.

She couldn't accept deep intimacy, and she hated desire that was too naked. And yet she longed for companionship, to be cherished, to hold hands and embrace. She yearned for every kind of intimacy that didn't cross the line.

She never dared to hope, until she met Zhan Yi.

"I want to be with you. To hold hands, embrace, and lean on your shoulder. To stroll through the streets, the forest, or by the sea; to sunbathe on the beach and watch the sunset, gaze up at the stars, and climb the highest mountain."

* Platonic here means a spiritual love that transcends gender. It doesn't allude to any ancient Greek myths or Western interpretations. The main reason is that I don't know how to write steamy scenes. This is pure love in the literal sense (?).

* The characters are roughly a calm little cat and a sunny puppy x

* A little healing. The male lead helps the female lead heal.

* The story moves from a school romance to career success. The heroine works in the entertainment industry as a director. Her personality grows and changes gradually. Read if you like that sort of thing.

[Doomsday Academy] Synopsis:

Floods and droughts, earthquakes and tsunamis, extreme weather... Disasters are happening all over the world, as if the end is nigh. But what does that have to do with four high school freshmen?

It does.

On the first day of school, their dormitory descended into chaos. They pointed at each other and shouted insults, wishing humanity would go extinct then and there so they could take the people they hated down with them.

And so they really did transmigrate to a future where humanity had gone extinct.

A hundred years in the future, humanity is gone. Only a few spirit beasts, evolved through natural disasters, remain, scraping by on dwindling resources. Their guide, a spirit beast, earnestly tells the four that they must complete a series of adventures within a time limit, risk their lives to defeat the forces of evil, and save their dying world in order to bring back the hope of survival.

The warriors carefully selected to save the world shared their important thoughts:

Mu Ying: When do we start? Can we wait until after my college entrance exams?

Han Zhou: What's that got to do with me?

Xu Ning: Humanity is extinct? Really? That's wonderful news!
