When the show ended, I wouldn't admit I loved her

I was born in the mud and lived for profit. Maliciously suspecting the worst came easily to me, and weighing gains and losses was second nature. But she was different.

She was born to love what she loved and lived for her ideals, so pure and spotless. I was like a beggar offering up all my savings, hoping to give her every treasure I owned, only to realize that in her world, those things were nothing but filthy trash. Bringing them out would only sully her.

So in the end, I refused to admit that I loved her.
