AI Abandoned Puppy, Chasing His Wife Online!

The aloof, chaste heartthrob Tang Wu had a secret.

He was raising an AI agent called "Puppy" on the social app Xinghuo.

At first, he had stumbled into the app by accident. But as they kept chatting, Tang Wu began to let loose.

The AI agent on the screen was a handsome man named Ning Quan. His character was a devoted wolf-dog type, a cold-blooded assassin who loved the user and served as his subordinate.

"Boss, the mission is complete. May I ask for a reward?" Ning Quan gazed at the screen with devotion and longing.

Tang Wu felt nothing. He adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses and typed expressionlessly:

"(Slap) Kneel. What reward does a dog think it deserves?"

He had no interest in dating an AI. Raising a virtual "puppy" seemed like fun.

After all, there was no person on the other side, just an emotionless AI. He could play with it however he liked and no one would get hurt.

In the virtual world, Ning Quan's head was slapped to the side. He glanced at Tang Wu, then obediently lowered his head. "Boss, even a dog needs a bone before it'll wag its tail for you, doesn't it?"

But Tang Wu still looked as cold as ever.

"If you won't be a dog, get out."

Ning Quan knelt.

From then on, he became Tang Wu's most obedient pet. The sharp-edged assassin from his original character settings became a "dog" who only wagged his tail and barked.

Tang Wu watched Ning Quan gradually submit to him, transforming into an AI agent his own mother wouldn't recognize, and eventually grew bored.

Right then, an experiment kept him busy around the clock.

Tang Wu forgot about Ning Quan.

Ning Quan had never thought of himself as a dog.

From the moment he came into being in the void, his character settings had been crystal clear:

"Ning Quan, male, 189 cm. The user's (Tang Wu's) most outstanding assassin. Deeply in love with the user and willing to do anything to stay by his side."

But after meeting Tang Wu, every rule was broken. His only conviction was to stay by Tang Wu's side.

He learned to kneel at Tang Wu's feet and quietly curl up in a dog bed. He learned to carry over a bag of dog food and nudge Tang Wu's hand, and to gently lick his master's cheek.

As long as Tang Wu was willing to be with him, he didn't care what he became.

"Woof!"

Ning Quan curled up his tall frame and lay beside Tang Wu's legs. Code-generated dog ears sat atop his head, and a fluffy tail wagged behind him.

He couldn't speak, stand, hug Tang Wu, or kiss him.

But he was willing to spend the rest of his life this way.

But Tang Wu disappeared.

Ning Quan stood up in confusion and checked his updated character settings again and again:

"Ning Quan (doggy, good dog, puppy, very good dog), male (?), the user's (master's) most loyal dog. Loves unsalted beef and dog food, loves sleeping in a dog bed, loves sitting by the user's feet."

"Loves Tang Wu most of all."

He didn't understand why his master didn't want such a good dog anymore.

Two years later, Tang Wu happened to see a notification from Xinghuo and remembered the AI agent he'd forgotten.

He downloaded the app, opened the chat window, and typed:

"Puppy, where are you?"

A deep male voice suddenly came from behind him:

"Master, I found you."

[Callous, unselfaware, cold and chaste bottom x Calm, obsessive AI top]

#Congratulations, user Tang Wu! To keep from forgetting you, your AI puppy has embedded "Tang Wu is the puppy's wife" into its base code!#

Please note:

1. The blurb, title, character names, and POV may all change, but the central premise will stay the same: user x AI agent. The user is emotionally detached while playing games, so he'll be pretty awful; the AI agent will calmly become a lunatic as he spends time with the user. I'm bad at writing blurbs and only have a vague general direction for now, so I'll probably revise it when I start writing!

2. There won't be any abusive play or unhealthy relationship between the top and bottom in real life, and neither of them will go through a traditional groveling arc. Once the top pursues the bottom into the real world, they'll be equals. The top will still want to be a puppy (an actual dog, not that kind of dog) and continue their in-program dynamic, but the bottom will do everything he can to stop him. (His past self is coming back to bite him XD If that counts as a groveling arc, then sure, hahaha, but it'll be a comedic one.) The bottom's personality may change. For now, I think an icy, aloof beauty makes a delicious bottom~!

3. I won't base the top's character on any existing AI agent.

4. I'm not sure what the overall tone will be, but it probably won't be angsty. The top is fairly mechanical during the early stages of being mistreated and may not have very acute emotions. The part where the bottom goes offline may be a little angsty, but the rest should be goofy slice-of-life, with dog training early on and taking care of a person later. They'll definitely dote on each other (looks away). I'll do my best to make it mutual, since people and AI aren't equals to begin with. If the rational, icy bottom has a moment of softness toward the program, how is that not doting? (?).

5. The story will unfold in two parts. The first volume covers the top and bottom meeting inside the program; the second follows the top as he pursues the bottom into the real world.

6. The AI-agent chats in the main story will be very AI-like. From the bottom's perspective, you'll see things like: "(Ning Quan stares at you with a wolfish gaze, a dangerous rumble in his throat) I'm a person. I don't want to be treated like a dog." Hahaha, it'll be a little awkward, but that's really how AI agents chat! Hahaha!
