Blurb:
Wen Huai never dreamed that she would secretly marry her longtime crush, Xu Youjing.
She knew perfectly well that their marriage was out of consideration from their elders, and had nothing to do with him loving her.
So at work, she did her job as his secretary. At home, she fulfilled her duties as his wife.
She thought that would be enough, but then the Xu family elders came calling and shattered her happy dream.
She had personally arranged for him to meet Miss Qiao.
The day he went to the appointment, unaware of the truth, Wen Huai went to a bar.
Glass after glass of red wine blurred her senses, but before she drifted off, she looked into those cool, distant eyes.
“Mr. Xu...?”
Xu Youjing's icy gaze darkened.
Even drunk, she remembered not to reveal their relationship.
A self-mocking smile touched his cool lips. He reminded her impatiently:
“It's after work, Wen Huai.”
Wen Huai didn't understand what he meant. She gazed at him with wide, dewy eyes.
Flustered by her gaze, Xu Youjing tightened his hold on her slender waist, his breath brushing her neck.
“So, Mrs. Xu, what do you mean by arranging a candlelit dinner between your husband and another woman?”

Blurb for the next book, Mu Se Bu Chi:
Yu Mu had the sort of face that put people at ease at first glance.
Her friends all thought she was elegant and quiet, the well-behaved type who would never do anything outrageous.
They never expected her to do exactly that.
And the man in question was the head of one of Beicheng's most powerful families.
Gu Kuangchi.
His cool, aloof eyes always seemed to hold an indescribable tenderness when he looked at people under the lights.
They understood each other without needing to say a word, maintaining the polite distance of adults and never asking too much about each other's lives outside the bedroom.
Their relationship, known only to the two of them, ended when Yu Mu left Beicheng.
A month later, at a matchmaking dinner in Shanghai.
Yu Mu frowned at the familiar face as the pregnancy test report beneath her hand crumpled.
She instinctively glanced behind him. “Did you come to the wrong room?”
The man curled his lips, making his words sound deliberately suggestive.
“Have I ever come to the wrong room when Miss Yu was in it?”
Yu Mu meant to make it clear they had nothing to do with each other, so she got straight to the point.
“I'm pregnant.”
“The baby isn't yours.”
She thought he would leave, but Gu Kuangchi instead pulled out the chair across from her and replied frankly:
“Perfect. That makes this marriage alliance even more straightforward. We each get what we want.”
He gazed into her eyes, a meaningful smile spreading across his face. “Just like before.”
From obtaining their marriage certificates to holding the wedding banquet, it took less than a month.
Their friends assumed their families had rushed them into it, and that they had merely gone through the motions without any real feelings.
After the wedding, their friends gathered for a get-together. Their casual conversation eventually turned to Gu Kuangchi, who hadn't touched a drop of alcohol.
A friend joked, “Now that he's married, Brother Chi must be afraid of making his wife choke, so he's given up drinking.”
Everyone knew what their relationship was like, so they laughed it off.
The man at the head of the table didn't seem to hear them. He idly fiddled with his phone, apparently waiting for a message.
Another friend was about to take out a cigarette when Gu Kuangchi looked up, his brows drawing together.
Without a word, he stood and headed outside.
The others had no idea what was going on, so they secretly followed. In the hallway, they heard someone deliberately lowering his voice, as if asking for affection:
“Do you miss me?”
“I miss you.”
Everyone's jaws dropped.
Wasn't this completely different from what the rumors said?
The next second, they heard his voice lift at the end of his words as he asked:
“And what about the baby? Does the baby miss Daddy?”
Everyone: ???

Happy reading.
Theme: Have the courage to love.
Quite pretty, but! A lot of! A lot of! There are a lot of typos, and some of them require you to guess the meaning, which is quite uncomfortable to read; there are also some sentences that are missing words or have incorrect sentences and are not fluent, which is really uncomfortable to read.
