Lin Wu is a dungeon boss in an infinite game.
But his original form is a koala.
In this infinite world, even dungeons have to meet performance targets, and bosses have to work hard. No dungeon wants to hire a koala to guard it.
So Lin Wu has never received a dungeon commission.
Fortunately, he's good at handicrafts and makes ends meet by running a tailor shop.
Lin Wu's sewing skills are famous among the bosses, and he gets orders every day.
A C-rank dungeon boss comes to him, asking him to sew their body back together after players dismembered it into eight pieces.
Lin Wu puts them back together in no time and gets a good review.
A B-rank dungeon boss comes to him, asking him to design a more terrifying appearance.
Lin Wu brainstorms and removes the boss's arms, then attaches them to its head. Another good review.
An A-rank dungeon boss comes to him, asking him... What? Asking him to save them?
But koalas can't fight. Koalas only sew corpses!
It turns out a powerful human player is looking for him, turning every A-, B-, C-, and D-rank dungeon upside down.
Lin Wu has no idea what's going on, but a crowd of bosses escorts him into the dungeon where the player is.
Lin Wu is a friendly koala.
To make a good first impression on the mysterious player, he brings along a local specialty from the boss community:
A freshly stitched, blood-soaked monster corpse.
"Hello, human. Here's a gift."
Lin Wu shoves the monster corpse in front of a group of players, frightening them into scattering in every direction.
Amid the screams, only the human at the front shows no fear.
The human smiles, eyes warm as he looks at Lin Wu. "Hello. I'm Yu An."
--[Bonus Scene]--
When he first starts spending time with Yu An, Lin Wu isn't used to calling people by their names, so...
"Human, can I eat this dungeon crystal?"
"Human, that one over there looks really scary. Don't go near him."
"Human, walking is tiring. I want to sleep..."
Yu An raises an eyebrow at him.
"Oh, sorry, human, I forgot your name again..."
Yu An smiles helplessly and says softly, "Come here."
Lin Wu's eyes light up. He's successfully gotten away with acting cute, returning to his koala form and burrowing into Yu An's arms for a sound sleep.
