The Laid-Back NPC Is Actually the Game's Supreme Ruler [Infinite]

Song Linyi is an NPC. He awakened when an SVIP player in a game bumped into him.

After awakening, Song Linyi didn't feel special or destined for greatness. He had no interest in ruling the game world.

Because he wasn't an ordinary NPC. He was an NPC who only wanted to lie around and do nothing.

Unfortunately, fate was out of his hands. He accidentally got bound to the player Qin Xusheng and was dragged into a massive infinite game.

And so, to stay alive, Song Linyi began leveling up and fighting monsters, using his NPC status to exploit game bugs like crazy:

The game required players to complete a quest. A group of players racked their brains trying to open a door.

Song Linyi walked up and pushed it open.

Because he was an NPC.

The game switched to free-for-all mode, and the players launched into a brutal battle royale.

Song Linyi found a corner and sat down. The players walked right past with their guns and didn't even notice him.

Because he was an NPC.

The game boss demanded that the players play hide-and-seek with her.

Song Linyi watched as the boss searched frantically all over the room for him, even going berserk, while he stood right in front of her.

Song Linyi: …

It was all because he was an NPC.

And so the lazy fish finally turned the tables and became the King of Lazy Fish! (smirking behind sunglasses)

Later, the newly crowned King of Lazy Fish, Song Linyi, reunited with Qin Xusheng.

Qin Xusheng caught Song Linyi just as he was turning to sneak away and asked:

Did you eat all the snacks in my inventory?

Song Linyi replied with an awkward laugh: Don't blame me. Those bosses ignored me, and I was so bored. Or I could say a fish ate them. Would you believe me?

Qin Xusheng: …What fish?

Song Linyi answered at once: A lazy fish.

· The Candy House

The Candy House is a dreamy little cottage. Its owner is a little girl in a frilly dress.

The girl loves to laugh and play hide-and-seek… and she also likes boiling syrup.

The thick syrup bubbles away, glug, glug. A bubble pops with a smack, and a small forearm floats to the surface.

· Lost

This is an abandoned space station that has drifted through the silent cosmos for decades.

No one knows why the humans aboard disappeared, and no one knows that they haven't truly disappeared…

· Kill Order

A farm owner has landed a huge deal: four tons of fresh meat are due in three days.

It's an impossible task, and the farm owner knows it. But he doesn't care, because his excellent employees will solve the problem.

On the first day, the employees work diligently;

On the second day, they are ravenous and line up to collect the food handed out by the farm owner;

On the third day, they discover that the crops on the farm have one strange eye after another…

[Bonus scene]

In a game where they had to make sure their actions were reasonable, the instance monster demanded, “Why are you two sleeping in the same bed?!”

Song Linyi and Qin Xusheng, who were genuinely just chatting under the covers to exchange information: …

Qin Xusheng had a sudden flash of inspiration and took Song Linyi's hand. “Because we're a couple.”

Song Linyi raised an eyebrow: ?

Song Linyi leaned closer and obligingly pressed a kiss to the corner of Qin Xusheng's mouth.

Qin Xusheng: Shocked, blinking eight hundred times a minute

Song Linyi watched Qin Xusheng forget to breathe and laughed softly. “Qin Xusheng, you can breathe.”

Qin Xusheng: I'll hold my breath until you kiss me again!
