Drunk Dreams of the Mortal World, Three Thousand Feet Deep

A young man bearing a halberd comes through the mist to unravel a long-buried mystery of sorrow and walk a road with no salvation.

Those who love deeply are doomed to meet a bad end.

Those who care for others are doomed to be torn apart by fate.

Those bound by destiny are doomed to taste the bitter fruit themselves.

[My close friend really tore into me for this... but I honestly have no idea how to write a blurb. In short, it's a high-martial-arts world with a large ensemble cast centered around two key characters. Two timelines, past and present, slowly collide before merging. Everyone will be caught up in tangled love affairs involving all sorts of men and women...]

[The romance is extremely messy, and the timeline will be too. I really want to get the plot right, but it's probably going to get messy as well.]

[Since the focus is on romance, here are a few examples: marrying your mother-in-law while carrying the child of your lover, who was separated from their parents for many years; being forced to marry the girl your dead older brother and your childhood friend both loved, while you've been secretly in love with that childhood friend for years, only for your childhood friend to be stolen away by your brother, who has come back from the dead, and so on.]

[In short, it'll be dark, messy, and twisted.]

This is a high-martial-arts world where people are inexplicably powerful enough to destroy heaven and earth, yet inexplicably fragile in both body and mind.

Please don't offer writing advice.

Multiple viewpoints, ensemble cast. Viewpoint changes will be marked in the volume titles.

The romantic entanglements are a messy, twisted hodgepodge.

Theme: There is great love in this world.
