Rise Again, My Nemesis!

The current God of Light was my mortal enemy. He died after exhausting his divine power to protect humanity.

When I heard the news, I, the God of Darkness, had no time to celebrate. I immediately reorganized my army and conquered the Continent of Light. From then on, it was renamed the Dark Continent.

I had fulfilled the long-cherished wish that none of the previous Gods of Darkness had achieved. Sitting on my divine throne, I looked down upon the continent shrouded in darkness.

For some reason, I felt a twinge of dissatisfaction.

It must be because life without an opponent was terribly dull.

So I resurrected my mortal enemy, intending to fight him and settle things once and for all.

That day, countless worshippers of the Light stormed my temple and saw me holding the newly resurrected God of Light in my arms, naked, as he emerged from the magic formation.

Afterward, rumors spread across the entire continent: I was so deeply in love with the God of Light that I had sacrificed half my divine power to bring him back to life, all so I could marry him and make him my divine consort.

Who would believe such an outrageous rumor? I scoffed.

Until the day of the final battle, when I met the God of Light's deeply conflicted gaze.

Theme: Fate sent them down different paths, but love would bring them to the same destination.
