Upcoming serious oceanic wasteland novel, Sea Hiding, blurb at the end.
Two powerful rivals, each hiding their true identity.
-
In 2210, humanity was defeated, and the alien central organization known as the Tower was established.
When Horne woke up, his memories were in tatters, and the Tower had issued a citywide warrant for his arrest.
While fleeing, he stumbled into the arms of a stranger. The man fastened a mask onto his face, and it immediately fused with his skin.
“If you don’t wear this, you’ll be killed. It’s the Tower’s rule.”
Everyone lived behind a mask.
But Horne soon realized that even after he put on a mask, the Tower didn’t withdraw its warrant. Instead, it intensified the hunt, unleashing bloody chaos without restraint.
“What’s going on? The Tower seems afraid of me.”
“Want to know the truth? Find Hells.”
“But you’d better not...”
Facing the man whose face he had seen not long ago, Horne pointed a gun at him, his voice icy. “You’re Hells.”
Hells willingly pressed his forehead against the gun barrel, smiling as if he’d just heard his lover call his name. “Does my name sound nice?”
Later, aliens launched a full-scale invasion of Earth, and humanity mounted its final counterattack.
Horne stood amid the ruined city, riddled with holes, his tone cool and resolute, leaving no room for negotiation.
“Humanity shouldn’t have to wear masks.”
“I’ll destroy the Tower. Hells, are you sure you’re coming with me? Once we go, there’s no turning back.”
Hells bent down and reverently kissed the back of Horne’s hand.
“I love you. I’ll never turn back.”
Illusions shattered, dark flames still burning.
There will always be those who dare to risk everything and venture into the fog, and those beside them who probe again and again until they uncover the truth in their hearts.
Even after ten thousand ages of darkness, humanity will emerge from the ashes and walk toward the light.
Cool, restrained military officer bottom × unhinged, love-addled villainous leader top
[Notes]
1. Serious science fiction, 60% plot and 40% romance.
2. One-on-one happy ending, both leads are powerful and sexually inexperienced, and they are each other’s one and only. Includes a mentor-and-student relationship and an ensemble cast, with no secondary couples.
Bonus Scene 1:
To evade the Tower’s pursuit, they hid in an abandoned house on the edge of the city. A surveillance drone flew past the window. Sirens drew near, then faded away.
In the chill of a forgotten century, Hells pinned Horne into a corner, their breaths mingling.
Hells removed his mask and whispered into Horne’s ear.
“Have you fallen for me?”
“Yeah. I’ve fallen for you. Will you be with me?”
A small knife came to rest against Hells’s neck. Horne spoke evenly. “Think carefully before you answer, or my knife will pierce your windpipe.”
“I don’t mind becoming a widower.”
Bonus Scene 2:
In Luoxi City, home of the Tower, Hells was among the richest and most powerful people around.
Horne, meanwhile, had no known past, no memories, no money, and no one to feel sorry for him.
People firmly believed Hells was only keeping him around for amusement.
“If Boss could ever like Horne, we’ll walk upside down and sweep the floor with our hair!”
Horne expressionlessly kicked Hells off the bed.
“What’s wrong?” Hells asked nervously. “Did I hurt you? Are you uncomfortable?”
Horne pointed at the door. “Get out. Take your underlings with you, walk upside down, and sweep the floor with your hair. You can come back when you’re done.”
Hells watched his men walk upside down, looking immaculate and frostily aloof on the outside, seething with anger.
He had to put a stop to these rumors. Horne was upset with him... Wait.
How did Horne still have the strength to kick him out? Had he not been trying hard enough?
Next time, he’d try something different.
Upcoming oceanic wasteland novel, Sea Hiding
After the Great Flood, the world was covered by ocean. The only land left was this enormous ark, which had sailed for a hundred years.
They were the last spark of humanity.
And Sea Hiding was the sharpest blade in the hands of the council.
Always cold, precise, obedient, and without a flaw.
He purged heretics for the council, maintaining order with bloodstained hands.
People feared and despised him, calling him “the council’s hound.”
But no one knew that late at night, he used holographic projections to disguise himself as someone else.
A gentle, quiet musician in an underground tavern.
Only there could he briefly return to being himself.
Until one day, he fell in love with his archenemy, who had come to the tavern.
The man leaned against the bar and asked casually, “What’s the name of the piece you played tonight?”
*
Zolna was an outcast aboard the ship.
Arrogant, sharp-tongued, and defiant of authority, he was a shadow lurking in the gray areas, a thorn in the council’s side that it desperately wanted to remove but didn’t dare touch lightly.
The person he hated most was also Sea Hiding
that soulless machine, the council’s puppet and lapdog.
Yet he was captivated by the musician who played the nyckelharpa in the underground tavern.
He was enthralled by the ancient melodies flowing from the man’s fingertips like streams of water, and even more by the tenderness in his eyes, so out of place in this decaying world.
He wanted to hold him in the cold ship’s cabin and kiss him as the waves tossed them about.
To go further beneath the light of the aurora...
Until that day.
Once again, Zolna was being escorted by Sea Hiding for spreading the “land exists” hypothesis.
In the struggle between them, the instrument case tipped over and opened. An exquisite nyckelharpa crashed to the floor.
Along with the instrument fell the sheet music Zolna had given to the one he loved.
The air froze.
Zolna grabbed Sea Hiding by the wrist and pinned him against the cabin wall. His fingertip brushed the other man’s pounding pulse as he spoke in a low voice, perilously close to a growl.
“What did you do to him?”
Sea Hiding turned his head away, hiding his face in the shadows.
“He...”
*
“Do you believe there’s land beyond the sea?”
“No. But if it’s you saying so, I’m willing to go...”
To the place we want to go, to find the freedom we want.

Happy New Year! I hope my treasured author can be seen by more people in the new year!
During the Spring Festival holiday, I finally finished reading the main text and the extras carefully. I have time to write down my feelings and analysis after reading it. I thought about it deeply and wrote it for a long time. My expression is limited. The following only represents my personal thoughts~
1Overall feeling
I watched it very slowly because it was not easy. The world view is very huge. The fate of mankind is struggling in the apocalypse. The heaviness of the plot and the sense of fate of the protagonist are almost overwhelming. How can I put it, it is a very strong conflict and emotion. It was okay at the beginning, not much, but it became more and more profound later on. The plot line gave me the same feeling as the cover. But fortunately, in the darkness of the apocalypse, the love of the two protagonists is like a flame in the ice and snow, burning for each other forever.
2Plot
Probably divided into three big chunks? It happens to correspond to three volumes.
1. The first part still revolves around Horn's amnesia and some interactions with Hells, which is also to lead to the main plot line (human beings want to prevent more aliens from taking over the earth, and when Horn sneaked into the tower, he saw that there were still three months until the aliens arrived.)
And I actually quite like the metaphor of Persona, which has a sense of cyberpunk spectacle. I didn't quite understand the meaning of Persona before, but someone has interpreted it in the comments, and I think it's quite pertinent. I personally think it represents human beings voluntarily surrendering their individual uniqueness in exchange for a false sense of security, and requiring human beings to move towards absolute obedience to the group in fear. Living in an era where aliens are all around us, and we don't even know if we are human or alien, all humans can do is doubt each other, and all their energy is spent on doubting each other and surviving, so no one can gather together to resist.
2. The second part explains why humans surrendered back then, as well as the story of Horn and Hells, who developed DDDD in his youth, and connects all the doubts in the first part. Why Hells is so obedient to Horn, with such pathological possessiveness and obedience to him, and why Horn has such severe PTSD, and why he defends himself against everyone in the first volume.
The plot in this part is very exciting. In the shadow of the apocalypse, how dark can the human heart and human nature be, and how far can they stick to kindness.
The rest of this part is awesome, a kind of ultimate martyrdom of an idealist: your biggest mistake is your kindness. There is also a kind of brokenness that lasts until death. Very, very informative.
3. The third part is to completely counterattack the aliens, and then until the end, it should be the explosion of all the foreshadowing conflicts, the grand deception, the explosion of the relationship between Hells and Horn, and the most tragic loss of horse haha.
In short, the plot line is very complicated, and there are many lines running at the same time and then closing the loop, and there are a lot of foreshadowings, which are also solved very cleverly in the later stage. There are really a lot of foreshadowings, but it is quite refreshing to see them exploding one by one like an ouroboros in the end.
3Characters
1. Horn:
He is a very complex character, both sharp and broken. He is an extreme idealist. In this wasteland world where everyone is evil and extremely self-interested, he is bound to be criticized. There is a comment about him: No one in this world will deliberately target you, unless you are too real and too dazzling.
Horn is this kind of real and overly dazzling person. You can knock him down or kill him, but he will never give up. This kind of resilience actually makes me emotional every time I see him.
I also saw someone saying that he was too reckless at the beginning and had to do everything by himself. In fact, I think this is what is most consistent with the logic of this character. He is not an ordinary civilian, but an officer who is at the forefront of the war and performs high-risk missions for a long time. His behavioral logic is to actively investigate and obtain first-hand intelligence when there is an information vacuum. Under the pressure of a countdown, he must act immediately. Coupled with his confidence in his ability, he is confident in his own hidden reconnaissance. The fighting ability has self-confidence rooted in muscle memory, which is a professional instinct based on countless successful experiences in the past. This character is highly logical and self-consistent from beginning to end.
In an age when sin is both righteous and sinful, people who have other people in their hearts will be ridiculed as saints, holy mothers, holy fathers, and fools. When I saw this at the time, I was actually quite moved. Isn't Horn's kindness actually the kind of morality we pursue? He is not as kind as a blank sheet of paper. He is the kind and gentleness that he voluntarily chooses after experiencing dangerous betrayal and loss on the premise of being able to protect himself. It feels like fate gave me a knife, and I snatched the knife from fate and put it in the sheath.
In fact, everyone knows what is noble and what is despicable, but they can't maintain his persistence. Compared with him, he is like a villain. But as long as he calls a noble person a saint, the Holy Mother, the Holy Father, a fool, and criticizes his persistence as stupid, the moral anxiety in his heart will have an outlet, but he never cares.
Looking at the whole thing, Horn gave me the impression of a saber tempered by fire. The blade has been curled, but the spine has never been bent. No matter how fragile he is, and his century-old faith has collapsed, he can still stand up with his bleeding body. When he is asked to raise a gun in front of the obelisk and aim at the person he loves for the future of all mankind, even if the shot goes down, even he himself will be wiped out, which gives me a sense of sacred martyrdom. His strength lies in his courage to choose love and responsibility even when facing the deepest pain.
2. Hulls (Moroz:
He is also a character full of tension. I feel that describing him as a crazy person or a loyal dog is not very objective.
Before meeting Horn, I felt that this man was more like a "beast". He had no love or hatred for people, only indifference. The sun god of winter, Horn gave him the definition. For Horn, he could endure a hundred years of loneliness, pretend to be a cold ruler, and beat himself to pieces just to tell Horn that I was by your side. Therefore, when Horn was away and during the time when Horn lost his memory, his human disguise was no longer effective, and he became an unprincipled, murderous maniac in the eyes of others.
There is a feeling that he does not love the world, but he loves the world that He Enen has loved, and he does not need the understanding of all mankind, just like the tree of Mira, which is constantly withering and reborn, just waiting for the person who gave him a name.
3. A love that two people are equally matched with
In an extremely dark world, their feelings really made me cry again and again. Why is this happening? T_T
In such a grand world, love has changed history. Because of Love, Hells did not completely destroy mankind, but used a mask to leave a spark of resistance. Because of his love for Hells, Horn finally let go of his paranoid hatred of aliens and completed his own reconciliation.
From the beginning to the end, we only have each other in our eyes, mouth, and heart. No one can intervene, and nothing can change it.
4. Ains
Although, I am actually quite impressed by this little girl. Who can read it and not say something about Hers's good skills?
What impressed me deeply about her is that she is a girl from a typical East Asian family, but she was influenced by Hells (probably influenced by Hells) and grew a cross-bones body. In fact, I understand her very well. She lives in an environment where she is bound everywhere. What she wants is personal value, and this value is more important than life. Everyone has their own choice, and everyone ranks the most important things differently. Maybe others think it is not worth it, but for her it is worth it, then this person will stand firm.
5. Ben Yi'an
This is probably the character with the most divisive opinions. It feels very controversial, the most chilling, the most real and the most embarrassing character. From him, we can see how ordinary people move towards self-destruction step by step under the high pressure of the end of the world.
From God's perspective, it is actually understandable. I think this person can represent the most ordinary people in the end of the world, and it is his struggles. But as ordinary people, will we reach the final step? In fact, I think it is also a question mark, because looking at his life from a God's perspective, he was still watching it while lying on the bed and sitting on the sofa. When he was hungry, he ordered takeout. Is there any agency that would take care of everything if something went wrong? The era he lived in was not like this.
He is a comrade who fights side by side with Horn, but he is burdened with his sister's terminal illness. In this totalitarian and highly resource-concentrated society, he is too powerless. He neither has the martyr spirit of Horn, who is "not afraid of being broken into pieces", nor the consciousness of a person who does everything for love like Hells. He longs for survival, longs for the people he likes to like him, wants his friends to live well, wants everyone to live well, and also seizes a little bit of power to protect his family.
I also thought that if he lived in our era, he would be a very good person, but it is a pity.
6. Wen Yu/Han Ya
In fact, there are not many appearances in the main text, but after reading the extras, I realized how magnificent their lives were. The author really built a complete life for everyone, no less than the protagonist.
[4] Some thoughts based on the entire article
Separated from the emotional and story lines, and raised to a philosophical level, what feeling does this article give me?
It feels like using an extremely grand and cruel wasteland science fiction shell to conduct a thought experiment about existentialism, exploring some of human beings' own arrogance, alienation of civilization, and the meaning of life. What is more terrifying than alien aliens is the totalitarianism and elite arrogance that deprives humans of their subjectivity under the banner of "for all mankind."
There are also propositions such as "Who am I, why do I live, why am I, and what is a human being?" Because there are also some discussions about eternal life.
If a human's body is full of cell molecules, then he is a human; but if the cells have been replaced by alien particles, then he is still not a human? If they weren't humans, why would they fight for humans?
When technology develops enough to reshape human beings, and when the temptation of eternal life is before us, where is the bottom line for us as human beings?
This goes back to the beginning: Human beings are ignorant but proud. They have experienced wars, epidemics, earthquakes, tsunamis... And God has acquiesced in all of this.
What shocked me the most was probably the 440Hz cosmology. Love is the only frequency that fights against nothingness.
The existence of life is fragile. Aliens will disintegrate into dust if they lose their energy field, and human bodies will also decay in time. When "all narrative fails, what are we left with?"
The 440Hz setting is really romantic and shocking in the end. In a universe destined to be destroyed, "love" is the only constant frequency, the frequency of life against nothingness. Human beings may always be ignorant babies in the infancy of the universe, but as long as we still have the courage to choose and the ability to love each other in the abyss, we will never be truly destroyed. At the frequency of 440Hz, even if the world turns to dust, love will remain eternal and connect everyone.
On the grand scale of the universe, there are countless bifurcations in the future, but what truly determines the direction of history is not gods or fate, but every current choice of human beings, and the essence of choice is abandonment.
Finally, I end with the words of Horn's prayer: All living beings in this world are mortal, how can people bravely stare at death? It is better to use one against ten thousand as the ashes of our ancestors and as the temple of God
When she chooses not to press the button, what is she choosing?
"My first lesson in life is competition and helplessness." Wen Yu's whole world began in the cold wind mixed with the smell of decay and disinfectant in the war camp. You wrote about the environment here in great detail. The deteriorated grease, mildew spots, and the blood at the corner of the mouth after being torn. These are more than just backgrounds. They are the air Wen Yu breathes and the reality she must swallow. All her stubbornness, all her silence, all her observations grew out of this breath of air. I can probably understand why she must go to the military area to test. Not only does she want to get glory, but she also dislikes the rotten rules of the War and Fall Institute. She yearns for a place that may be different.
She was teased by the boy that her clothes were taken off from the nurse. This kind of attack may be familiar to every girl. It does not attack your ability, but taints your way of obtaining resources and makes your survival itself seem inferior. Including the girl in the later test who was stigmatized for acting coquettishly and blushing because the superiors were all the same, they built a wall with laughter to isolate the reasonable girl. Wen Yu's silence and the girl's blushing and trembling face are two sides of the same coin. They are both desperate situations that women are forced into in this context, either losing their voice or having your voice misinterpreted as another kind of emotional noise.
When the lights went out, the aliens started hitting the glass, the corporal screamed and ordered the children to press the button, and morality and survival were placed on both ends of the balance in a rapidly shaking dizziness, I was thinking what would I do if I were one of those 19 children? I might be scared and I might cry. After all, the corporal's voice was so authoritative, and the sound of breaking glass was like the countdown to death. Choosing to obey under extreme fear and pressure seemed so reasonable, even the only correct choice. It is cloaked in the guise of taking the overall situation into consideration and courageously shouldering responsibilities. And those boys, I think when they pressed the button, they probably really thought they were being forced to become heroes and make tragic sacrifices. Your stance is fair and you don't write them off as simple villains. They are also crying and saying sorry. That's why it's sad that a twisted system can package the most cruel choices into a noble initiation ceremony, allowing the executors to complete the sacrifice to the same kind amidst self-movement and fear.
So the moment Wen Yu stood up was very impactful. She didn't use more powerful force to suppress or use pathos to try to influence. What she did was the simplest and most subversive thing. She moved her eyes away from the established framework of whether to obey orders and stared at the person who gave the order. "Why didn't you push the button?" She was questioning the legitimacy of the situation itself. If rules must require sacrifice, why don't the makers and advocates of the rules put themselves out there in the first place? The hypocrisy at the heart of all power games is thus exposed, and those who always call for others to sacrifice are often the ones who most skillfully stay out of it. She refused to choose one of the two options, and she tried to overturn the multiple-choice question table.
Admiral Al said that others were trapped in a binary framework of obedience or non-obedience, while Wen Yu questioned the framework itself. I think this is the mental immunity that Wen Yu developed in desperate situations. What Zhan Yun taught her was complete distrust and the habit of reviewing any rules that seemed to be taken for granted. This helplessness became her strongest mental armor.
What is very real is Wen Yu's disgust and unwillingness to join. Her trembling in front of the general, her blurting out "I don't want to enter the military zone anymore" is not perfect but very true. Seeing through the traps of magic brings no joy, only a deep sense of exhaustion and disgust. The different place she yearned for turned out to be the same cold calculation at its core, the logic of testing people as tools. This sense of disillusionment was far more devastating than simple fear.
Admiral Al's retention was also very clever. He did not use power to suppress her or coax her with empty ideals. He said that the military region had no shortage of powerful officers and soldiers who knew how to execute orders, and then pointed at her head and her heart. He placed the weight of his thoughts and feelings above obedience and force. I think this may be the first time in Wen Yu's life that an authority recognized her, not because of her gender or her heterogeneity, but because of her painful and uncompromising thinking.
Scene at the shooting range Faced with a new round of well-intentioned contempt, Wen Yu did not make a long speech. A word of thanks and a shot of hearts. She used the only language the other party could understand and completed the concise conversation with absolute strength.
"I can use their rules to tame these people who play by this set of rules, and then develop my own gentleness outside of this set of rules."
At this point, Wen Yu's image was completely established. She does not want to destroy the male-dominated world of Muqiang. She wants to master its rules first and gain the right to speak, and then plant different seeds in the gaps of the rules. Her gentleness is a kind of compassion and ability that belongs to the strong, has the right to choose, and is more advanced.
I think what you wrote about Wen Yu is about the cultivation and cost of a sober person. Her pain comes from sobriety, and her strength comes from sobriety. What moved me about this story was not the thrill of counterattack, but the process of her struggling to gain the sovereignty of her thinking bit by bit in the torrent. In fact, we are also in various transparent cabins, in social concepts, and in countless times everyone is like this. This is the prescribed moment. And the real power may not lie in how perfectly you can play a certain role, submissive or rebel, but in whether you can retain the freedom to question the role itself. Wen Yu's helplessness is precisely the starting point of her spiritual freedom. Since I have nothing to rely on, I can only rely on my own judgment. This is the loneliest road and the most solid road.
Wen Yu, the gentle jade has the hardness to crush hypocrisy. In any seemingly monolithic system, an individual who refuses to stop thinking is itself a variable full of hope.
Wen Yu in the text can only be described in one word as calm. This woman always looks at everything with a detached eye, with compassion, always calm, and is very good at weighing and deducing the forces of all parties. Her emotions are reserved, but extremely sharp. She can be said to be the first person to discover the relationship between Hells and Horn - before Horn himself was aware of it. The perfect combination of these two sentences is simply a victory for CP fans.
This extra story gives everyone a glimpse into the goddess's turbulent teenage years. Something unexpected happened when she visited the aliens in the training camp. When everyone was extremely panicked, the remaining nineteen men were either at a loss or making calculations. Some wanted to be heroes, some wanted to sacrifice their corporals to save themselves, and some were so scared that they couldn't cope with themselves. Wen Yu analyzed calmly, keenly discovered the irrationality, and followed his own heart to question the officers. He was the only one who failed the obedience test. Of course, this is another kind of recognition. The ability to think independently is innate, and only those with this ability are qualified to sit at the podium.
When I saw the sentence "She is very beautiful", my Ji Da was inexplicably crazy. The female Bronze Tiancai was nothing more than this... A gentle and intelligent big sister. She must have seen countless beautiful and tough women in the environment where she grew up, and also witnessed the whole process of their destruction.
The trio was so good... I burst into tears. They were friends who accompanied each other through the unknown. This is something Hells can't compare to. If you miss those days, you will miss them.
Guns are also her good friends. She observes the character of each gun, patiently understands their temperature, and uses the most accurate technique to create beautiful records. My sister Yu has faced countless ordinary men and low-level men in her life, and she has developed the ability to crush them with facts. Wen Yu deserves all the honors!
It's such a blessing to catch a new episode on the weekend! Time kept ticking forward, and five years passed in the blink of an eye. He En also received the message Han Ya had originally set to send, and was really moved. Although Han Ya can't come back, life has to move on. If Han Ya can see the current situation of Luoxi City, he will definitely be very happy. The warm daily life of Horn and Hulls is so enjoyable, and the part in the miniature city of Thunder is truly magical. When they are the only ones left in the world without anyone to disturb them, holding a wedding that belongs to two people is so romantic... Maybe Horn also imagined a life that is not the end of the world, but without Hells, what is the point of even if it is not the end of the world? Horn has long been accustomed to being accompanied by Hulls day and night. Horn spent a year cultivating polar trees. Even if others questioned him, he still stood firm in his choice. This has always been Horn's character trait. I think the polar tree is not only a glimmer of life in the ice and snow, but also Horn's wish to stay with Hulls for a lifetime. This young couple must last forever [red heart][red heart][red heart]
I read this masterpiece in one sitting. When I was faced with the world view at the beginning, I vaguely guessed some foreshadowings. I didn't skip reading. But in the end, when the complete story of the two people and this rotten world was unfolded in front of me, it was still as shocking as a nuclear bomb exploding.
After reading the author's two books, I want to say that as long as you keep writing, you will definitely become popular [come on] [come on] [come on] I hope to see your articles in more places in the future.
Han Ya is so boyish! ! ! I had a general feeling for him after reading the main text... But after reading his monologue... I understood that everyone actually has their own compulsions... Ah... Madam, she wrote so well... I love you, I love you, I love you... (I accidentally came over to check it out before going to bed, and a new episode appeared!!! An unexpected surprise! Very happy!!!!)
Come on [let me be healthy], Haiyin's copywriting looks so fragrant, I smell it from 🍠
Ask in a low voice, when will Dada open Haiyin [Star Eyes]
I really like sister Wen Yu, a strong woman [Like]

2. Hulls (Moroz: He is also a character full of tension. 3. A love that two people are equally matched with In an extremely dark world, their feelings really made me cry again and again. Why is this happening? T_T In such a grand world, love has changed history. 4. Ains Although, I am actually quite impressed by this little girl. 5. Ben Yi'an This is probably the character with the most divisive opinions. 6. Wen Yu/Han Ya In fact, there are not many appearances in the main text, but after reading the extras, I realized how magnificent their lives were. The author really built a complete life for everyone, no less than the protagonist. [4] Some thoughts based on the entire article Separated from the emotional and story lines, and raised to a philosophical level, what feeling does this article give me? It feels like using an extremely grand and cruel wasteland science fiction shell to conduct a thought experiment about existentialism, exploring some of human beings' own arrogance, alienation of civilization, and the meaning of life. What is more terrifying than alien aliens is the totalitarianism and elite arrogance that deprives humans of their subjectivity under the banner of "for all mankind." There are also propositions such as "Who am I, why do I live, why am I, and what is a human being?" Because there are also some discussions about eternal life. When "all narrative fails, what are we left with?" The 440Hz setting is really romantic and shocking in the end.
"I can use their rules to tame these people who play by this set of rules, and then develop my own gentleness outside of this set of rules." At this point, Wen Yu's image was completely established.
