Taking the Weird Tales Comic World by Storm with Inferior Pheromones

Xie Tan has the lowest-quality pheromones of any Omega. Other Omegas have pheromones that smell of flowers, fruit, or milk: sweet and alluring, enough to intoxicate Alphas. Xie Tan’s pheromones are different: rotten, strange, cold, and stale, like an old, damp book in the attic of a haunted house, or a flower silently rotting at midnight. They reek of ill omen. People avoid and loathe him, steering clear as if he were a venomous snake. Even he can’t stand it. After pulling an all-nighter reading comics and dying suddenly, he transmigrated into a minor character who, from the start of the comic, was sacrificed to be eaten by a little ghost. With his limbs bound and a terrifying little ghost right in front of him, its body blue and purple and its head bigger than its torso, he decided to lie flat and wait to die. But the little ghost sniffed around, drew in its big fangs, and hugged Xie Tan with an utterly blissful look, like a cat that had smelled catnip. “...Fragrant...so fragrant...” Xie Tan: “?” ** The horror comic Strange Tales, the most popular IP of its kind, has released a new series. It opens with a beautiful, world-weary youth, so stunning he seems like a demon. Readers are dazzled, then wail, “I just found my new wife and now he’s going to die!” By convention, characters who appear at the start are only there to set the story in motion, disposable extras who won’t survive past the first chapter. But then readers realized they were wrong: A ghostly figure in the rain holds an umbrella over him, while a bewitching songstress lulls him to sleep; A clown’s ghost performs a head-swapping trick to make him laugh, while a corpse collector blushes and gives him a newly bloomed corpse flower; A spirit board diviner entwines fingers with him, while the tentacles beneath a ghost bride’s red veil wrap around him and refuse to let go; He is a bewitching monster, a flower of evil, driving every wicked creature into a lovesick frenzy and making them crave him obsessively. Xie Tan, who somehow became a fan favorite: ...I want to die even more now. All the ghosts and monsters shriek: No!!! ** Xie Tan believes people hate him or are obsessed with him because of his pheromones. Only Lu Jinzhao is different. That troublesome guy is cheerful and sunny every day, always meddling in other people’s business, and thinks everyone in the world is a good person. He’s the only one who can smell Xie Tan’s pheromones and still treat him like anyone else. Xie Tan is always worried that this silly puppy won’t make it to tomorrow. So, trapped in a comic-book world with no ABO and no suppressants, when Xie Tan was suffering through a painful heat, he messaged Lu Jinzhao. Lu Jinzhao, the hidden boss, drove off all the ghosts itching to make a move with a single glance. Then, looking at Xie Tan’s dazed, flushed eyes, he gave him the same warm, sparkling smile as always. “A-Tan, do you want me to help?” *Fake-sunny, sweet-on-the-outside-but-dark-within, scheming big-dog top × breathtakingly beautiful, sometimes cold and sometimes soft-hearted, world-weary youth bottom Theme: Finding the meaning of life and finding happiness
